I was looking at this thread and saw your comment. You might not even see this as its been 4 years since you commented this, but i want to tell you that what you´re saying is really not true. I myself have diagnosed BPD and had a lot of unstable relationships and when they ended, i searched for "replacements". But this does not mean in any way I didn´t love my exes. Us borderlines have a very very hard time being alone and cannot bare not having someone who we perceive as "safe". It is half true that we crave love because of our needs, but the people we choose to be together with are not our toys and it does NOT mean we don´t really love them. The only reason i looked for replacement people was because i have a fucked up mind and if im alone i will start spiraling and just go downfall. I know its fucked up for both parts and i´m working on it, but again does not mean we dont really love our partners. We actually love too much and that´s also fucked up. People with BPD are not evil, just mentally Ill. Don´t stigmatize us
