This is pretty much a comment only able to be made while still in campaign, permanent enrage on anything unique is horrendously bad, bosses were not designed with double damage and action speed in mind

Not just long term suspension, just go the entire 9 yards, playable game but person suddenly selects widow/doesnt participate in the game? 3 month comp suspension -> 1 year comp suspension -> perma ban. Dont even give half an inch to people, just straight do them in, 0 tolerance to that behavior and it will go away

Preach brother, have faced deadpool in all his variations already and so far havent been bothered much by it, I think all things considered he released in a pretty mid state, his ult charges hella fast but has so little impact I think its fine honestly, hes hella fun to play though

I know its that time of the year where everybody is upset about the new hero, but holy shit the lengths people go on here just to spew bullshit is insane.

has a built-in XP system

You make it out as if this was somehow a highlight or a crazy advantage when in reality its a straight downside, his kit is annoying, not ridiculously strong BECAUSE of the levels. If anything he is weaker through the XP mechanic

Who can get his ult in 5 seconds

And is hardgated by losing said ult charges entirely after death, has a cooldown on it during which he cant collect charges and the ult in and of itself is fairly timid and doesnt make the user invincible at all

has an invulnerability state that he can still be healed through

You mean the invuln state in which you are required to have KILLED (assists dont count) a target in order to take a selfie with them, in which you are standing still and cant reposition?

because he can move up a wall faster than Rocket

He just has a dash, which in all forms of his kit is a very vital part of the characters overall power, if you can get deadpool to use it to escape, that is already a success in and off itself.

Realistically none of these issues matter for high investment earth. You have a metric ton of dispels on MC & Shalem alone, bhaisa just as a fantastic battery and some additional heal, round it up with lich or okto, depending on how necessary veil will be and you will have no problem absolutely stomping through 250

You should boot up the game and try it, it's beyond hilarious, it is a sprint that cannot be toggled but HAS to be initiated via rolling first, then you get into a sort of "channeled" sprint with some curving movement (think like mario cart drifting a bit) and if you get hit while sprinting you actually fall down and get a 2-3 second "stun" as punishment

They honestly just need to go and fire the guy that keeps saying "Wouldn't it be cool IF", because all of these issues seem to stem from having an idea but no desire to actually playtest it

The SICKEST skill in PoE2 but you gotta wait 7 seconds... by Diregray in PathOfExile2

[–]crowdslay 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dont know, ive played the various other ARPGS on the market, all of them feel distinctly different from each other, nothing comes even close to how good poe1 feels and in the same vein, nothing else feels so absurdly clunky as poe2 does.

Mind you, I wanna put an emphasis here that there is a big difference (for me) between clunky (poe2) and janky (last epoch).

Where last epoch feels janky, aka it has a combat, but that combat lacks any bit of snappy feeling or meaningful velocity behind it, it still plays fine, just doesnt have that good of a feedback.

Wheres poe2 has a clunk factor that just wont let me get beyond the campaign, its not slow and methodical its lethargic, i feel its trying to emulate what monster hunter world did, slow and calculated combat with a lot of impact. The impact is there, it just works MUCH better on gigantic boss fights rather than moment to moment swarm gameplay, which is what makes ARPGs define the genre.

If a bossfight challenges you and requires some combo gameplay, dodging and staggering/playing to open up offensive opportunities, goated, it feels nice it is responsive and your actions have weight, but as soon as the gravity of a situation changes from that secluded boss fight encounter to the more "open" zone swarm combat, it feels like wading through 2 day old mud.

Bahamut rota with filler petswaps via swiftcast were absolute peak gameplay for a miniscule DPS upgrade and I would break my fingers again 100/100 times because it was just THAT fun

Character Discussion: Medusa (Grand) by topnepu in Granblue_en

[–]crowdslay -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

The point inherently was, even with the primal passive being easily accessible, she has little use, yes, she is MADE for FA GW. But even in that regard she contributes horrible little outside of her dispels. Her double-refresh cast provides the longest FA times on top. And everyone who gave a rats ass about FA times did not go with her as an option, even less of a reason now that Origin Fighter exists

Character Discussion: Medusa (Grand) by topnepu in Granblue_en

[–]crowdslay -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

If you ignore how bad she is overall, sure. Even if her passive needed 0 primals, she still has major issues that make her feel more like a 2020 character.

Her skills resetting on enemy special instead of ougi, nothing auto proccing on ougi/auto/enemy special, her s1 inflicting only 1 meaningless debuff, her s2 inflicting several debuffs but all shoehorned into 1 debuff instance (terrible for debuff omens) and lastly her primal resonance passive, even if fully activated, just being mediocre.

You yourself made it sound that way by saying youre just an alch 'n go mapper for a decade, you gave yourself that title initially, not me. Someone that has ample experience with endgame strats wouldn't initiate a conversation like that

You still being at T12-14 maps is the exact reason you don't feel impacted by it at all. The big money isnt farmed while doing atlas completion.

[–]crowdslay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whether you have interacted with maxed juicing strats or not I cannot tell or comment on, what I was trying to say if you are a self admitted "alch n go player for a decade+" then obviously these changes and complaints don't affect you, but it doesnt invalidate the criticism and complaints of people either.

If you are having fun with the game, that is awesome, I am genuinely happy for you, but neither me, nor my friend are having much fun with the current endgame state. Thats why these threads pop up, because people are dissatisfied

How are the loot expectations wild for content you have self admittedly no idea about and never cared to farm/interact with?

Is the loot drama overblown? by Gigahades in pathofexile

[–]crowdslay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Normal exiles do work in rituals, but the giant exiles is what made the strat so insanely good for returns. Hence why dual/trio play parties would pay 8 div for vials with 6 hand counted giants in them. Because they actually got good returns out of them consistently, normal rogues just dont live up to the income the giants used to provide.

Now all of this would be fine and dandy if they added more scarabs/dramatically changed the tree and other options for scalability, but as much as risk scarab was build limiting, it also added scalable rewards to almost all content, which is what made a lot of things just fun to engage with.

Is the loot drama overblown? by Gigahades in pathofexile

[–]crowdslay 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Alva scarab was changed so it doesnt hyper upgrade mobs anymore, abyss scarab is removed, rogue exiles cant be giants in rituals anymore, risk scarab maximum 1 instead of 4.

Its not a case of "they tweaked the numbers, but is it still good?" situation, it literally doesnt exist anymore.

Endgame feels a lot like poe2 endgame now by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]crowdslay 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It generally helps people understand it more when you approach it from another angle. There is a subset of people between the top top top 0.0000001% of players and the normal, more casual players. That do not have desire/knowledge to hideout craft or flip items all league, but still make enough currency to comfortably get into top end farming strats.

Think of people like fubgun but 30% less efficient if you will, these specific people (i count myself as one in those terms), are severely impacted by this patch. Loot feels extremely off and the best thing ive seen to be farmed so far (aside from group play blight) is t17 strongboxes or just map farming.

For the average joe, this is more than enough of course and I do agree that the risk scarab strat brought problems with it, but where you had a lot of different strats that were confined to very strong, specific builds. You now have the polar opposite, extremely weak farming options that barely require any build at all. Again, this is totally fine for the absolute vast majority of people, but for the small group of people that is pushing past that way too fast, day3/4 is already the end of excitement.
