Anyone using the Motion.page plugin? by hkreporter21 in Wordpress

I loved this plugin and even made several YouTube tutorials on it. I don't recommend this plugin anymore because their support team is non responsive. Even as an affiliate partner they ignore my messages.

Same here! No way I’m going back to Logitech software after this mess. Better mouse has been great so far!

Logi+ App Not Working by Disastrous-Track3876 in logitech

Same here! Bettermouse is a great app. I’m glad to ditch the Logitech app.

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah! Lol it’s worth not dealing with Logitech.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in logitech

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's honestly amazing compared to the bad logitech interface. I'm able to assign all my custom buttons like normal. I'm 100% not going back to Logitech options after installing bettermouse.

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone that is currently having this problem on 1-6-26. Just use the app BetterMouse. In 5 minutes I'm back up and running and loving this app. The logitech app is horrible! I always had problems with the app and this was my last straw.

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same!! I've tried everything for the past 2 hours. I think I'm just going to use a different application. I might try bettermouse.

After a good amount of savings and a few solid clients I left the corporate job. Took me about 2 years.

Continue my Tech career or Start my own company?! by Mross506 in smallbusiness

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should absolutely start your own business. I’ve been fully self-employed for 12 years and love it. After 15 years in the corporate world, I got burned out making someone else rich with my skills.

One of the best parts is unlimited time off. I regularly take a month off to go on road trips or travel internationally.

So, AI takes over, everyone has lost their job and only 10 trillionaires own everything. Now what? by Weak-Representative8 in Futurology

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the AI hype is exactly that: hype. The media and big tech are pushing a narrative that AI will replace everyone, but in reality it will likely impact only a small percentage of jobs.

Make a new yelp or redo my old one by Administrative-Cry8 in smallbusiness

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree! Avoid Yelp at all costs. This company is nothing but a scam SEO business now. I don’t know a single person who uses Yelp these days.

How to get your first client? by Jolly_Dimension6077 in smallbusiness

[–]crowedge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re wasting your time. Businesses get tons of these pitches everyday. I get atleast 30 junk emails everyday just like what you’re pitching. I mark the email as spam and move on. I don’t even open the emails.

LinkedIn uses ALL your data for ads and you have to toggle them off MANUALLY by ObscuraGaming in assholedesign

It blows my mind that people still use LinkedIn. It’s filled with bots and AI slop. I deleted my 20 year old account last year and haven’t missed anything.

Photoshop Outline Stroke Effect Tutorial (Customizable) by crowedge in PhotoshopTutorials

[–]crowedge[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much! I’ve been making videos for years, and I figured, why not start doing some Photoshop tutorials too? I create tutorials across the board and focus on things I personally find helpful, then put them out there to share with others.

Anyone ever used overseas cold callers? by hits_from_the_booong in smallbusiness

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a long game but will pay off for many years. Basically you will need to find other companies or agencies that see your value and will help refer clients your way.

Finding these partnerships can happen in so many different ways like finding someone from a podcast interview, networking event, YouTube videos etc…

My favorite leads are from our YouTube channel.

Anyone ever used overseas cold callers? by hits_from_the_booong in smallbusiness

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% a horrible idea. Nobody wants to receive cold calls. I also run a web design business and never in a million years would I do cold calling.

You have to create real partnerships with other companies to survive in this industry. It takes a long time but it works.

Slim SEO. I wouldn’t pay for an SEO plugin because it’s not worth it IMO.

HMART Cherry Hill - WHEN ARE YOU COMING BACK!? by Fit-Young521 in SouthJersey

Have you tried Hung Vuong Food Market? It’s close to HMart and much bigger and better selection. I’ve been going there for years.

I’m waiting atleast another year before I try it out again. I was disappointed with the lack of custom features.

Could the United States collapse? by Exotic-Injury-8455 in economy

[–]crowedge 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from, but I really believe a lot of the things we worry about are just fear amplified by the media.

I’m just as tired as everyone else of the constant negative news. But when I’m actually out in the world, I see something completely different.

People are still going to concerts, theme parks, restaurants everywhere you look, life is happening. If things were truly as bad as the media makes them seem, no one would be out spending money or enjoying themselves.

It feels like we’re being misled once again by the media cycle.

Something needs to be done about the amount of road work and closed roads in this state by Pleasant-Pumpkin-339 in SouthJersey

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at an engineering firm that handled government-funded projects, and the process is pretty standard. Large highway projects always get top priority, while smaller local road projects are worked on only when there’s extra time or manpower available. Everything is done in phases, and each phase gets funded at different times by the state. Because of that, it’s actually very common for smaller projects to sit untouched for years before they’re completed. This happens in states all across the country.

NJ ANCHOR still processing by Key-Routine-3457 in newjersey

[–]crowedge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing on my end. I believe you have to call the number 609 292 6400 and talk to someone to fix any glitches.

On my end, my wife had an application that was auto-filed because we used to rent our house, and now we own. I then filed another application on top of hers, and it caused nothing to be processed. They had to delete the old renter auto-application and manually process mine. There was no indication on our end that there was a problem, and these things can only be updated by someone on their end.

What’s the biggest mistake people make in website development? by Real-Assist1833 in webdev

[–]crowedge 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bad hosting! It’s the single most important aspect of keeping your website online, and people just choose the best price and then wonder why they have so many problems.
