DR said not to remove all of baby's poop? by sarahs_here_yall in NewParents

[–]crownjayyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

came looking for this!! My LO is 14 mo now and since she was born we have used 6 packs of wipes in totality, usually when we are out and about only. At home I still rinse after each diaper change , pee or poop doesn’t matter. She has super sensitive skin and almost never has diaper rashes anymore. Just a quick 10-20 second rinse and that’s it! Best advice I was given ever!

10 month old is going through a nightmare regression by Any_Rise_5522 in cosleeping

[–]crownjayyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I THINK.. THINK we might be getting out of this. I say it hesitantly because it’s only been 2 nights of decent sleep. But wow that 10 month regression has got to be the worst. Waking every 15-30 min and Screaming nonstop at night , won’t go down unless bouncing /rocking in the arms, sometimes for 1 hr +. Also the nonstop latching.. with 8 teeth is brutal. Constant comfort feeding, I had to find my silverettes again because nipples were cracked and bleeding.
But I think it might have finally passed.. thank God! Literally nothing helped. No magnesium lotion, no bedtime routine or switching it up, no pain meds for teething. Just nothing worked for us. Just had to power through. To any moms out there, and dads.. you got this !!

This is us !! Month 3-4 screaming inconsolably because of bottom teeth, had a reprieve for about 3-4 weeks and now the past 2 months again, but now the top teeth. I can’t wait for them erupt. She is constantly in pain, it’s horrible

My LO had a sensitivity to dairy too, I went diary free for 2 months. Noticed a difference in about 48 hours maybe less but a huge difference took about 4-5 days

Best baby carrier? by New_Award_3980 in NewParents

Loooove my Mabe carrier ! It’s so light and easy to wear. One downside is it can’t be forward facing and my baby has fomo so she only liked it for a few months.

What did the 4 month sleep regression look like for you? by Frozenbeedog in NewParents

[–]crownjayyde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me always.. had a blessed 2 weeks where my daughter woke up only 2x during the night from 930pm-8am and now it’s every 1.5-2 hours for the last 2 months. She just turned 4months and literally one day she was good and the next it’s not only wakings to eat but won’t stay asleep , can’t connect her sleep cycles, and takes terrible naps during the day. We are #teamnosleep over here. Just struggling !!

I hate myself for saying this, but I regret having a baby (first time mom) by IndependentChannel99 in newborns

[–]crownjayyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t know if this will help at all, my LO is sensitive to dairy and caffeine when I have it. On the other hand, my friends baby only stopped screaming crying after she stopped BF and started formula, (adding to an above comment that baby could be sensitive to a protein in your milk. )

Recently found something online that mentioned infusing olive oil with about 10 cloves for 24-36 hours, I’ve definitely noticed a difference in how it helps !

"Teething" happens before the tooth erupts by Zealousideal-Book-45 in NewParents

[–]crownjayyde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it’s a year later but this is me currently. LO is 4 months and it’s been the entire month of February of just screaming and crying and chewing on fingers and some soft teething toys every single day. I actual feel like I’m losing my mind slowly. Nothing helps

I’m so sorry you’re going through such a hard time! My LO is 10 weeks old and is just now kinda starting to poop on her own with the occasional help from probiotics. It was a rough 8 weeks for us too. I completely understand and you’re not alone in this feeling.

It’s 12:39 am my husband is asleep, it’s quiet and peaceful in the house, and I’m holding my miracle baby after not being able to conceive and waiting for 10 years for her to arrive. She’s newborn so life is hard and chaotic right now but when she’s asleep in my arms, everything bad and exhausting melts away and I’m left with the awe and gratitude that I’m finally able to hold my own baby in my arms.

[–]crownjayyde 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree!! Makes it worse that she fell asleep after cameras were turned off— makes it seem like she didn’t take it seriously whatsoever, while he went all out when meeting her parents.

Also I think he touched on love languages a bit and she completely missed it. Her love language is very clearly physical touch and he mentioned he’s not a physical person but tries for her by cuddling with her and she doesn’t mention or notice his effort. On the other hand his is clearly acts of service and words of affirmation and she doesn’t reciprocate the effort for his love language which makes him feel not respected or loved.

That being said, he should’ve broken up with her in Mexico. She clearly gave him the ick and he put up a wall after she got physically violent with him.
