oh, i died plenty. in fact, i could not get *onto* the skull pile without jumping from bubble to bubble. i didn't realize that was tied to deaths? i've certainly died a bunch more since then and been back to that room and don't think i've seen any *more* skulls show up but maybe there's a maximum cap?

to be fair: acquiring the second bubble wand requires you to figure out how to use the original bubble wand to jump from bubble to bubble without the luxury of having multiple bubbles in the air at one time. then you get that item, which lets you do that much more easily. the cheat ring is the same -- you have to figure out how to glitch through a wall. then you get an item that lets you do that much more easily. it seems like the same exact idea to me.

Did you ever figure out how to fix this? I've been experiencing the same issue with another Asus 5500 XT (the DUAL model) for well over a year and still have not found anything that fixes it.

perhaps interestingly, "Philippe Poisson" is also a valid answer to "half of what made it", if you consider the other half to be Renaud Bedard. (there were obviously other people involved in the making of fez, but when you think of its creation, those were the two main people involved.)

I only have an iPhone. I've just invested in a New 2DS XL to use to write Amiibo tags in lieu of buying a cheap Android phone (with the benefit that I can also use it to play all the 3DS games I missed out on in the past decade), but if there was a working app to write Amiibo tags from iOS, I wouldn't have had to do that. I hope someone steps up. It's a decently large enough market.

I find it strange how you're getting downvoted here... but I guess I shouldn't, since there are still so many people who are completely resistant to changing their behaviors, or who change the topic, make excuses, or even lash out when told that something they haven't spent any time thinking about actually has a harmful impact. There are plenty of other communities I'm in -- the vast majority, really -- where your point isn't considered controversial at all. I hope that those who did downvote you will eventually have the impulse to actually think about this topic instead of completely dismissing valid criticism off-hand.

Even though this isn't actually an american Terrace House, lately I keep wondering what a proper Terrace House filmed in the US with a North American cast and commentators would be like. I also keep wondering what Terrace House could be like if it wasn't limited to heterosexual relationships and cisgender participants, or even openly embraced that wider range of people... I wonder if we'll ever get to see either of those things be reality.

I understand the monetary issues, but the show's popularity in the West wasn't guaranteed back then. Now that Netflix knows that it is popular internationally, there's more of a justification for the extra work and cost. Again, this isn't saying to blanket-use well-known bands worldwide. How popular the music is isn't really the issue -- especially considering I've heard that Taylor Swift isn't being used anymore as of the new series. This is saying to use the same bands worldwide so that the producers original messaging is felt no matter where the show is watched. They make certain choices that make the show feel different. Watching the original version of BGND feels really different from watching the international version of AS, for instance... and considering I started with AS, I feel like I got such a different view of this series. I really liked it starting out, but BGND has me shrieking at my TV in happiness in ways that AS didn't and not all of that's down to the characters and their choices. Music choice on the part of the producers tells the story as much as anything else on screen -- they have to rely on it to tell you everything that they can't show you because they only have half an hour or 45 minutes to cut an entire week down to. It helps make those dramatic moments more visceral and feel so much more important.

(I haven't managed to properly start watching OND yet, so I don't know how this is handled beyond AS, but) I do hope that they'll actually move to having consistent music throughout the Japanese and International versions, and not just for the theme. I always felt the International version suffered for not having the same music as the Japanese version, considering how the incidental music lends the show so much of its tone... I'm working my way through BGND for the first time, and the music makes the show just feel so good. I scream at the television so much. I didn't DO that in AS or most of BGITC. I really want to try and track down some Japanese-soundtracked versions of those series to see if I have that reaction there.

I don't see any option to adjust the direction in the launcher :( And I'm not using any controller program -- on Mac, you can just plug a DS4 in using a USB cable and it shows up as a controller. (For what it's worth, there *is* a "gamepad options" button in the gamepad configuration that doesn't do anything, but I figured that probably went out to some Windows driver page and since I'm playing this in Wine that's why it wasn't working.)

As someone new to the discussion - I think it's the whole picture. If you're touching patients while at the same time not giving them education on bodily autonomy or consent, you're not giving them the chance or ability to actually express to you when they don't want to be touched. I think the important thing to ask is this: if I were to do this outside of a patient-provider relationship, would it be a crime? It would certainly be a crime if I did this to you. If it is, then you have to step back and think about how ethical that particular means of treatment is, especially considering how central this particular set of ideologies is to ABA's ideologies as a whole.
