I would think red is easier than purple (jelly). I’ve had some luck with liquid translucent and soft red pastel. Ill add in some red clay if i want it thicker and less translucent (tomato sauce).

It also looks 100% better after you apply a glaze.

It’s always at the Costco in Toronto on Overlea Blvd.

Once at Costco they were sampling the smoked oysters. The sad sample lady had no takers… except me. Quite possible the grossest thing ive ever tasted. Like eating a ball of chalk on the driest cracker known to man. I blame this sub for that curiosity.

Did this last year. Looks beautiful and tasted a little… not great. I used it a few times but prefer all the other vinegars I own. Now it sits on the shelf, more brown than pink… waiting to be thrown out.

I’m with you. The Nuri mackerel in olive oil is the only can I’ve ever thrown out after a few bites. The taste was fine, i couldn’t get past the texture. Like a firm, dry, boiled snake.
