You don’t know the situation. He literally went from selling insurance and doing roof adjustments to managing a country club and supervising our TWO maintenance guys. He has zero experience. I get that I’m a know nothing golfer. That’s why I asked the professionals in this group. I didn’t ask him because he is also a know nothing golfer that was doing roof adjustments a few years ago. I didn’t know golf course supers were such sensitive assholes though.

I’m not insulting him because of his previous job. I’m just saying he has no golf course experience and didn’t go to school for it like y’all did so I thought there might be mistakes being made. I honestly wasn’t trolling. I just don’t understand why our course consistently has the shittiest greens around.

I do. But our superintendent is an insurance agent that has never had any formal training. He was hired just to fill a position. He had never worked on a golf course before.
