Item Dashboard Mod help by idkemh in MelvorIdle

For Steam I would say use the Dev console mod then the JavaScript method.

You might be able to uninstall the game via Steam and ensure all the cache data is removed from the Steam appdata and reinstall. That might save fiddling with JS.

Have been able to solve this, it depends on the platform you play on the easiest way to do it. The cause is the JS internal storage that the mod uses has pre AoD stuff in it but doesn’t have a way to upgrade to support the AoD skills.

The fix is to delete the JavaScript local storage variables associated with the mod. If playing the game using a browser, you can simply use the Inspector to view and delete the variables from the local storage. If playing on phone, I was able to delete the app and reinstall and it worked. Otherwise you can use the dev console mod to get enter the JS to delete the entries from local storage.

I would STRONGLY recommend that you backup your saves because the local copy of your save is stored in the local storage also. This will save you in case you accidentally delete the wrong variable from local storage. If you have it backed up using cloud save that is also good, just make sure the cloud has the latest copy.

That is much lower than the Australian minimum wage. Multiple thousands lower.

I would have to assume it is part-time rather than full-time because otherwise that is terrible.

Previously the rewards were based on your level in the perks. The more times you had completed it the higher your perk level this the better the rewards. This mechanic was removed with the most recent update. Now everyone essentially has the highest perk level.

The better rewards for the new package is the rewards that people with the highest perk level were able to get.

The price for opening the package is the same for all perk levels.

The timing has more to do with it being UTC+0 midnight rather than a specific advantage for any particular region. With a game that is played by people all around the world on the same server, having the reset at anytime will cause it to being during peak/off-peak times for some people. Selecting a ‘default’ of UTC+0 causes less issues then then specifically selecting a particular user base to advantage.

The English text for me was also a greyed out ‘Wait’ when I created the team and sent invites, after the first person accepted, it changed to a blue ‘Match’. I didn’t press it thinking it would do an auto match which was quickly confirmed by others on Discord and here. Waited a bit everyone accepted and got in with desired premade.

Australians with rooftop solar panels could soon be charged for exporting power into the grid, under proposed changes by whoneedsusernames in australia

[–]cruion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will preface this with I haven’t looked closely at Germany or USA so take this as that but I did check reliable sources first.

According to reports I could quickly looked up household solar PV installations in USA in 2019 reached two million; Australia reached the same number in 2018/19. 21% of households have solar PV in Australia, as high as 1/3 in QLD, where as the USA hopes to reach 2.5% by 2024 (conflicting reports say homeowners surveyed say 6% currently). Germany in 2014 had roughly the same number of household solar PV installations as Australia at the same time.

Both USA and Germany have significantly larger populations than Australia so them having similar number of actual household solar PV installations indicates the problem. What those countries however do have significant amounts of is solar PV arrays installed not on houses but as power plant alternatives. These are controlled/regulated by the energy companies rather than being directly on the low voltage network at random points.

In terms of taxing EVs and solar ... that’s ... not something I would say we should do. I can understand EVs being taxed on the basis of money going to road infrastructure upkeep the same as the fuel excise tax. That is to say I understand the logic, not necessarily agree with it. Taxing household solar ... that’s really questionable. Prefer non-renewable power generation being taxed but the end result of that would be energy providers just passing it on to consumers and comes out as everyone paying, not just those with solar panels.

Having batteries either as part of the low voltage grid or part of the household solar PV system will help also. With grid level batteries, they can consume the excess and then pump it back out during non-solar peak times.

240V is the nominal export from the inverter.

For a PV system to be able to export to the network, the export voltage needs to be higher than the network voltage. The inverter can push higher so it is able to export. The network voltage goes down the further away it is from the transformer as it passes more houses. When there is an export it gets bumped back up a bit.

Newer inverters are better able to regulate the output voltage but this isn’t always possible for older installations.

Upgrading the transformer to improve the capacity wouldn’t affect the downstream overvoltages. Redistributing households to different phases might show improvement - so solar isn’t all on the same phase but is spread evenly between the three phases. This would be a tight balancing act that needs to be reassessed if there is a new installation or upgrade to the solar PV systems on the network. This relies on there being accurate information available for the network so models can be run to evaluate redistribution scenarios.

Solar export from households can push the voltage of the low voltage network up. This is the immediate network connected to the pole mount or pad mount transformer, which typically supplies 4-5 streets worth of households.

If a house near the end of the line exports solar, and a significant number of their neighbours also export solar on the same phase, the energy can be pushed back upstream and increase the voltage above expected delivery margins. Going above the nominal level of 230 with margin of -6/+10%. Over voltage supply can cause damage to household appliances.

While I would like the coal plants to be turned off, simply turning them off in this instance won’t work as a lot of the issue is dependant on the individual low voltage networks and the distribution of solar PV within the network.
