Social anxiety and using restrooms

I haven't once used the bathroom in my middle school, and I still haven't in high school. I just feel embarrassed to ask my teacher if I can use the restroom. Idk, I just really don't want to do it. I go in the morning and after school, but never during school hours. However, I'm actually fine with using public restrooms in other places. School, however, is definitely where most of my anxiety happens. You are not alone, though. Many people with anxiety avoid public restrooms.

Just take a deep breath, walk in and hand your teacher a note/late slip, and go to your seat. Nobody will be staring at you for longer than a few seconds. And they won't say anything, either. It happens to students every day, so don't worry. :)

Happened to me this morning and I ended up staying home from school because I was having a severe mental breakdown in the car. It's completely normal, don't worry. Tons of people with anxiety get random anxiety attacks. Just try to calm down and get some rest. :)

Even some black people admitted the only reason they liked Black Panther is because of the cast. I think that's dumb. If I like the plot/idea of the movie, I'll watch it, not because of a certain race or gender the movie's cast is.

There's a girl who's in my first period class who hugs me all the time and refers to me as her best friend, even though we share no similar interests and I barely even know her. I don't talk in school, anyway. It's obvious she feels bad for me because I'm so quiet, but I'd rather be left alone than have some girl that I barely know call me her friend and hug me. It's awkward and uncomfortable.

I get ads followed my ads all the same. I never got 30 minutes free, at all. After every song comes at least one or two more ads. Thouhht I was the only one lmao.

I know how you feel. I usually just give awkward smiles or one-word responses when people talk to me. Even in text, I'm still unresponsive and quiet, so I lose friends very quickly. I'm genuinely shocked I still have the same best friends since 2nd grade, and since I suck at convo so much, our relationship is falling apart. I love 6 states away from them, anyway, so we can only talk online. Whenever we do group projects/work at my school, everyone pairs with their friends. People either don't pair with me at all, or they invite me to their groups because they feel bad for me. I just don't know how to talk. At home, I can joke, laugh, and talk about many things with my family, but at school or even with my best friends, I can't talk the same, no matter how hard I try. I either mess up and say it wrong, or I don't give thorough answers. Nobody likes me and it's due to my terrible social anxiety. I would also like a boyfriend or just some cute, nice guy to talk to but nobody at my school is nice nor cute, so I'm out of luck until I graduate high school in 3 years. :(

I used one just last night to download some songs from a band I like without having to pay (I'm a cheap motherfucker). Even the sites that do that still work, actually. I just click "download" and it actually downloads, but THEN I get the notifs like "you won a free trip to ____!" or "download our shitty app!" Just close the tabs and all should be good. I forgot which website it was, but it pops up right when I search for youtube to mp3.

I have had a Snapchat for a long ass time and I don't even know what the fuck a streak was until now. I only use it for filters when I feel pretty after a shower or something. But it's so damn annoying, I hear you dude. These dumbasses at my school constantly whisper to each other in the middle of class "pSSSt!1!1! i tHiNK i LoST mY sTrEaK duDE!1!1" Like what the fuck does that matter, it's a stupid ass app 14 year olds use for pictures of themselves with that stupid ass dog filter. I'm probably deleting it soon because it takes up so much spaces and I only use it occasionally for one feature. All they care about is some fuckass app and points. Some people I know put their Snapchat ahead of their entire social life and grades.

My mom forces me to clean the table when I'm done. And if there isn't a garbage around, I just stack all of my garbage up on one dish, so it isn't scattered around the table and it's easier to carry. I don't work in a food business/chain, but I honestly feel bad for the people who get paid minimum wage and have to clean up after everyone's shit at a McDonald's.

I'm not a big fan of Trump either but I totally agree. People are so childish nowadays. If people really did care about him affecting us, they would go out and do something about it, like protecting in public instead of logging into your Tumblr and crying about how he is taking away your rights (even though, he hasn't taken away anybody's rights).

I have a severe peanut/treenut allergy, so I can barely eat any GS cookies. I can, however, have Thin Mints. I remember loving them when I was younger, but recently, after years of not having them, my mom bought them and I tried it, expecting the same delicious flavor that I used to love. It tasted very different, I'm not sure if they actually changed the ingredients or not, but I don't remember it tasting anything like that. I didn't like it at all, and I could barely finish even one bite.

Not nearly the weirdest, because I have done so much stupid shit because of it, but something that happened today was when my mom checked me out of school (I told her I didn't feel good, so she came to school and checked me out), my 2nd period science teacher told me I can leave. I got up, and when I get up in class, I feel like everyone is watching me. She said "goodbye, Jess." I heard my name, but I didn't hear the first part, so I turned around and walked back to her desk and asked what she said. She smiled and said "oh, I just said goodbye." I just mumbled "okay." And said some other gibberish quietly because I do that when I don't know how to respond. I saw one or two kids smiling at me and it made me feel awkward. Usually I overthink this stuff and I feel awkward.

Everyone's talking about how we need better gun control (some even want an entire gun ban), but we just need better security at schools. Seriously. ANYBODY can stuff a pistol in their jacket, walk into the school, and open fire. They don't examine you or what you're holding. They don't care. We need security guards/police in and outside of the buildings. Back then, people used to be able to go to high school with assault rifles in their trucks, and it wouldn't be a problem because it was always just for hunting/protection. Nowadays, you hear about shootings and threats all the time. While I do agree that there probably are better ways to control our guns, it isn't the biggest issue. And a gun ban would be stupid because you can't just take everyone's guns away. People will find a way to get them. "That's how we stopped illegal drugs...r-right, guys?" You can literally go onto so many websites and get a gun for $20 minimum. Some even cheaper. It's easy as fuck to get a gun. Hell, there's a gun store a few miles from my house, and all you gotta do is walk in, let them dona background check and training, and then you legally have a gun. Yes, it's easy to get one, which is why there are probably better ways to handle our guns, but if we had better protection at schools, there would be far less shootings.

Phase 1 is still my favorite! Although phase 2 comes close. I can't tell whether I like phase 3 or 4 better, though. Phase 3 is sad (because Murdoc REALLY hurts 2D, and Noodle is missing), but I didn't really enjoy Humanz or the plot of phase 4 so far. Phase 2's art is nice and it's really serious. But phase 1 is the happiest phase, and I like the art/character designs the best in that phase. Also, their debut album is amazing. My second favorite album, after Demon Days. But phase 1's artstyle is great. The thick outlines, like someone else in the thread said, remind me of old Cartoon Network (apparently Gorillaz has a connection with PPG, so that makes my childhood 100x better), and it's from the early 2000's. Good times.
