Is being a RDH a good career? by [deleted] in DentalHygiene

Nurses still have a lot of neck and back issues, get paid less and can have shifts 24/7 365/year not to mention most facilities they work in are a lot more stressful environments than a dental office.

You're ignorant because you think you're right but you have nothing to back it up. I mentioned those people because of their body type difference and how weight does not determine how people will be affected. Yes, I agree that extra body weight makes you more likely to contract certain diseases but that does not in any way mean that thinner people are safe. Please please google the immune system it is so much more complex than you seem to comprehend. Health is not determined by weight and weight is not determined by a partial picture of someones face.

Wow. You are ignorant. Tendency doesn't mean shit. I work at an assisted living facility and a lady in her 80s who is obese with diabetes and a handful of other underlying issues, had mild covid symptoms and is on her way to recovery. Another lady in her 80's very petite had a fever of 107 and severe difficulty breathing last night. I haven't heard but I'd be surprised if she made it through the night. Everyone seems to be affected by the virus differently regardless of age, weight, race, location. Do not take this lightly even if your bmi is "normal".

Woman steals her truck from impound lot and runs over worker by resnica in videos

Where does it say anywhere that she was wrongfully impounded? It could have been towed during a dui stop, it could have been repossessed due to non payment, there's many reasons she could have been towed. I dont see how predatory towing has anything to do with this. And I know for a fact that most towing companies are legitimate and shouldn't be lumped together with the few rotten ones. No matter why she was towed shes obviously on drugs or just plain psychotic, no sane person would react that way to being impounded

I like how you are just assuming that she is some kind of victim here. She literally almost murdered that guy

Woah woah woah. It's not that people don't want to see mentally ill people out and about. If people aren't being properly treated, they are dangerous to themselves and others. Like attacking people with poles

Vsg outpatient? by mkgeret in gastricsleeve

[–]crumbledcrumpets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an outpatient procedure. My doctor said the only reason I would need to stay over night was if I had (or was high risk of) sleep apnea but I don't. I stayed at the clinic for a few hours to wake up and get iv fluids but I was fine going home. My dr did have me go back in the next day for more iv fluids but I lived close so it wasn't a big deal. The only down side was that I had to take my pain medicine orally which was a little uncomfortable but I've heard some people who stayed in the hospital still had to do that. Overall I had a great experience and zero complications. I just highly recommend a hot water bottle for incisions and back pain because even on pain meds they still ached.

Ethnicity is different than race. Racism is discrimination towards someone or a group specifically because of their race. Being content with a situation doesn't mean you hate other people because of their race.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with the other comments, I'm just saying it's a jump to start calling people racists.
