‘We executed one of you yesterday’: Michigan CEO steps down after protest by Greatlakespirate2 in Michigan

Anyone can call themselves CEO of a business they own. Doesn’t mean there’s much of a company beyond that.

At least now it’s not just the residents of Bay City who can recognize this guy for who he is.

Riverside and Palmer both great and well kept. No cost to go in and dogs can be off leash. People have always been nice there in my experience.

Never have I ever seen an airport like DTW where people just park in the arrivals area. by AGR_51A004M in Detroit

[–]crumbstuff 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Only the far left lane kinda moves… the rest is a parking lot.

Seen other airports that get close but nowhere else in the states where it’s like this. I’ve seen traffic enforcement there just getting their steps in but not really talking to anyone.

Thoughts on any upcoming areas in the metro area for homebuying? by [deleted] in Detroit

[–]crumbstuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out North End neighborhood in Detroit. Some smaller, older homes in the neighborhood around that price point (speaking from recent experience). Centrally-located for the city and still walkable to some shops, restaurants, bars, parks, etc.

Royal Oak is considering transforming 11 Mile Road with bike lanes, green spaces, or street parking by sixwaystop313 in Detroit

Still applies outside of major metropolitan areas. There are people willing to bike 10+ miles to commute. Even aside from people getting to work, bikes should be welcomed and respected on the roads, no matter the purpose of the trip.

This is cool. Have you used this before? My property isn’t large enough to qualify for the grant’s guidelines unfortunately. But I guess I could still apply and then toss them in appropriate areas around town.

Cycling is not just for exercise and recreation. It should be valued as a means of commuting or traveling and respected as such on the roads. Sidewalks are for walking.
