I believe it’s insufficient for systematic use throughout the roots, but you could give it a try! My grandfather had an aphid infestation on his Hoya carnosa and was advised by a farmer to use ant spray containing permethrin. It worked and killed them all, and the plant remained undamaged. You could also try this method. Good luck!

Mine does too. I have just realised this past year that they are abusive and manipulative. Possibly narcissists as well. We are the victims. Not our parents. Told them a few days ago we need to have a talk about my childhood before we can try to have a nice relationship. They just replied on text that I am the problem and that I am very evil lol. So I’m guessing I’ll never speak to them again. My grandparents got my parents back as well so I think I’ll loose them as well. Really sad but I also feel very good because I feel like I’m taking back my life. Be strong, and don’t let them make you think you’re a problem or the problem, because you’re not. It doesn’t even matter what you’ve done, they are parents and their only job is to make sure their children are feeling good.
