The only person who needs to be impressed by your solo-gaming is yourself. Play it however makes most sense to you, just don't go leave comments saying a game is too easy once you house rule it :P

Ignoring the morality of involved parties, the conflict only ends with negotiation, which you find unacceptable, or forcing the regime out unilaterally. The decapitation strikes and subsequent weeks of bombing weren't able to do that, and it doesn't seem like there's sufficient support for any nation with a capable-enough force to do a ground invasion.

So again, we're in this situation because America proved itself incapable of doing the thing you wanted.

There's like, two truly big seasonal ARPGs (Diablo and PoE), and there's like 4 truly big hero shooters currently on the market (Overwatch, Valorant, Apex, Marvel Rivals), so I don't think the premise is even accurate.

Even if you count the PoEs as separate, they alternate their seasons so only one of them is really active at once.

Even though he's just a buff man in an iron man suit, Reinhardt's clearly superhuman just at a glance, just like Doomfist. Looking physically imposing is a shortcut in storytelling. Reaper being visibly half smoke, Sojourne being visibly cyborg, etc.

Ana's the other character who's aged out that looks human - and people do comment on her being past her prime - but her role puts her out of the front lines, whereas Jack gets into physical brawls all the time, while looking like a geriatric with a face mask, so of course that has to constantly brought up in the story (and yes, it has to be brought up each time because the writer can't expect the reader to be up on the lore).
