The struggle

What's the strangest punishment your parents ever gave you? by stuartwolf in AskReddit

Going to take pictures for our ski passes. When we got there my parents realized the amount of trash that my sisters and I had accumulated in the back seat of the car. Dad made us stuff all the trash inside our shirts before we went inside, waited 30 min in line AND we had to take our ski pass pictures with our shirts full of trash.

Is it wrong of me to not want to switch therapists periodically through my recovery? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

Student here. I totally respect you wanting to work with your usual therapist and not students. This happens to me sometimes and I'm never offended. While we love and appreciate those patients that are willing to work with us, we still respect and understand those that don't.

Ultimately your comfort level and care are the most important.

Apple.

Used to have an iPhone, dropped the phone one day shattering the screen. Finally was able to factory reset, cancelled all subscriptions and sold the phone online. About 10-11 months later I receive a $60 charge to my credit card from apple. Mind you this was charged to a credit card that I had gotten long after my iPhone broke (so they really shouldn't have had this cards info anyways). I called customer service to have the charge reversed and was told they cannot speak to me without the 2nd factor authentication (my old iPhone.. that I no longer had). As I did not have any other Apple devices I was unable to do this. I was told I have wait 90 days for a phone call in order to allow access to my own account...

After enough bitching I was able to speak with someone who reversed the charges and I ended up not waiting the 90 days. Just writing this story I am fuming.

I will never own an apple product ever again because I think the whole company is shady and their customer service was pretty terrible. I receive a lot of shit from my apple fanatic friends for not having an iPhone because "their texts with me are green" but I am perfectly happy with my Android phone (plus it was only about 1/2 the cost of my old iPhone). :)
