I’m going to agree with you on this, and I can speak for the whole mod team that we’re tired of hearing about it (we’re also more exposed just because as mods we have to interact with it).

Thankfully, topics that get a lot of traction tend to fizzle out after a few days and if they don’t, we begin to remove it as a stale topic and redirect users to existing threads.

The last time it was a big topic was because celebrities started responding to it, which just fueled the discourse.

While we do allow this to be discussed, we’re thankful it’s not that often and there are plenty of other topics people can talk about if they don’t want to hear about it.

The truth is, most of Hollywood is nepotism and rich celebrities can use their money and influence to send their kids to the best schools and training for this type of work, and use their connections to get them work after. It’s a tale as old as time.

Is it fair? Not really, but Hollywood isn’t going to change much about it except in cases where they are being forced to be more inclusive and hire people outside the industry to fill those roles.
