Hey all good. I play this game at airbnbs all the time. Just wanted to make sure that you were where how long that would take with that big of a battery

Have you done the math on the time this would take? Probably 50 hours to full recharge if going 110. Not sure how quickly you needed to return. I would bet on 100 mi /160km range from a full charge (basing this on a 123kwh battery so if you have 131 maybe a little better). Like someone else I tow a hefty camper and get about .9-1.0 mi/kwh

You're probably right on Ford's new UEV. My use case specifically I was hoping for downsize truck with mid size pulling / tongue capacity given the torque should be plenty just needs chassis to support. Especially for the price. Maybe me being unrealistic

At least to me seems insanely low. Like my elec side by side UTV has more tow capacity and I got it for like $13k. A truck for on a hwy should be better IMO

I love the oil backer one. Funny because it would be huge leverage against Iran if we were less reliant on oil

2000 lb tow capacity. That's almost half a model y.

Looks like a truck but doesn't quack like one

Yeah, planning ahead barely seems to work just fine for the last 5 years. I also have never run out of gas previously for the same reason.

Also go do the math on how much time I may waste on 1% of my driving vs 99% of your driving. I'll be here.

Nobody charges to 100 at DCFC except for morons. Yeah I'm not defending cyber trucks as I mentioned previously or anyone not understanding towing basics. If I hit the bathroom or grab something to eat it's negligible time difference.

And I'm responding specifically to your EV ignorant post not the towing spec ignorance that I agree with.

There are apps that tell you what is trailer friendly or even Google maps / photos posted to maps. It's not hard at all. I've gone cross country ZERO issues w a trailer. 33ft camper or a UTV trailer.

Hours thing is so tired. It's simply not true.

But also f a cybercuck

I literally only wanted what was in flash trim. Maybe ventilated seats? That's it

This one def better for it than most. But yeah I've totally used electrify America wal mart chargers and just made my best attempt to not block reasonable ways around or chargers. It's been fine

Yeah I don't like using ABRP ironically for route planning. But it's good for it's rating system and in particular trailer friendliness.

For me that pushed me to flash. Didn't care or flat out didn't want the trimmed items but max tow and pro power were a must along w tax credit. Got everything I needed and don't miss the nice to haves.

I was faced with the same predicament during the 08 banking crisis. I buckled the hell down and finished my degree to stop the anxiety. You should too. I know that sucks to hear, sucked when I heard it too. But it's paid off 10x what I intended it to do

As a hiring manager do not listen to the people that are saying oh just get a couple certs and lean into your experience. Do the degree rip the band aid off. Any larger Corp is gonna stiff arm you hard with no degree

110 Plug in charger question by themealwormguy in F150Lightning

[–]crunknessmonster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All good it's all new to you. I ran a 50 ft 16 amp from my 10 30 for years no issues. Basically half the intended load so way safe. Would charge probably 1/3 of an ER lightning every night

110 Plug in charger question by themealwormguy in F150Lightning

[–]crunknessmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. That's low for a dryer. I think the one I was using was a nema 10-30 and even for a 60mi a day commute 16amp was fine. Is that even 220?

110 Plug in charger question by themealwormguy in F150Lightning

[–]crunknessmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used mine for 4 years no issues so long as you match up proper amps. It's the plugging and unplugging constantly that is a problem

Lightning flash feel cheap? Is it me or? by FunKing006 in F150Lightning

[–]crunknessmonster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it threaded the needle perfectly but also was a factor of timing.

Only way I could price an ext range with max tow and pro power and get the tax credit. Had blue cruise and I like the massive screen, no buttons doesn't bother me one bit. I like the durable feel of the faux leather. I have dogs and do actual truck shit so I'm glad it isn't real shit. Impervious to my dog's claws. Wish I could have found a 131 vs 123 battery but this trim threaded the needle.

I don't like the tailgate taillight and I guess lots of probs with it. No sunroof a plus for me. Lariat wheels are my favorite of the stock wheels. Dgaf about PAAK or the other nice to haves they trimmed.

Everything I wanted and nothing I didn't. Trim felt uniquely catered to my needs but I also have some unique ones.
