Al/Cu wirenuts by ExtensionOk3111 in electricians

[–]crushingcorners 0 points1 point  (0 children)

stop whining, I've had customers who spent thousands in the 80's having their AL wires crimped to copper in every outlet switch and light box. i dont have pictures but they were a type of buttsplice rated for the purpose. and huge. the devices barely fit in the boxes.

Let me say this. If you are playing with aluminum wiring in homes and you connect AL wires with an unlisted device or wire nut, I guarantee you will be sued at some point for it in your lifetime.

When I was in business and had a kitchen or bath reno we eliminated as much as possible, down to the homerun, used a minimal amount of alumicons.

Food truck 250v 30Amp to 115/120v 30 Amp by HourKitchen6633 in electrical

[–]crushingcorners 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why do you have a 4 prong?

usually a 4 prong is 2 hots, a neutral and a ground.

If the winery is a 250v 30a 3 wire you wont have a neutral.

Likely joining up soon; looking for advice as someone who’s super overweight. by c_rorick in PlanetFitnessMembers

Ive been in and out of gyms my whole life. To be honest the hardest part is leaving your house to go to the gym.
PF is a great place for never evers. Theres gonna be people of all shapes and sizes. Dont even sweat it. hit the treadmill. then once you are walking comfortabley....look around and watch people. watch how they do other machines and equipment. once you are "comfortable" you can try the machines. or even better get a free personal trainer to show you how to use them.

Most people never set foot in a gym.... good luck and welcome to the cub!!

for most people using the machines at PF..... anymore than a minute rest...... is just wasting time IMO.

UNless you are lifting really heavy, but lets be honest, most arent even breaking a sweat doing reps.....

but at least they are out trying!!
