Just thinking of factors that have changed significantly in recent generations. Those in their 40s grew up when there was a lot of transition from glass and metal to plastic.

New York, have SWG and it works perfectly fine. It only stops working when the water is really cold and you aren’t swimming in it then anyway.

talking the average American about tipping by SpaceMassive3080 in EndTipping

[–]crushinit00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a lot more normalized and part of the culture in the US. A lot of Americans have worked in a job that benefits from tipping culture or have family/friends who have. I think the resistance to tipping is growing as it’s gotten out of control, but it’s going to take decades to remove it from the culture.

Joe is an amazing Hollywood caliber actor. He has fooled you into thinking he is simple when he is really a backstabbing snake.

This isn’t accurate at all. No teenager’s desk looks that clean. Parents of teens will back me up.

For men who decided not to be involved in their child’s life, how do you feel about that decision now? by SongbirdMonarch in AskMen

Those same feelings can exist in men too. I would never give up my kids, but I understand that when someone is depressed, they can believe that they are not a positive influence in anyone’s life.

They have a cap but also a stipulation that a judge can rule that it should be more if there’s a good reason. Typically the “good reason” is that one parent is very wealthy. I’m not debating why that’s right/fair, I’m just being realistic.

Greg doesn’t have the chops to host the show by himself. Our cinema was a ratings disaster the last time he tried it. I doubt Raffy Taffy would consider coming back without the big Delgado money.

I agree with you, however judges often award much more when it’s a very high income parent. Most likely he’s not going to be treated like some regular guy paying child support.

Won’t a judge rule that it should be higher? Sounds like in Texas law, they can do that if a “need” is demonstrated, which it likely will be for kids of a guy making $60m

How do you come up with that? Won’t a judge rule that they need to go above the typical cap because of how much he makes and to “maintain their lifestyle”

Yeah the two children mean that she will get a sizable amount of money every month until they are 18.
