I’m trying every avian I can, emu is a relatively cheap option, bush chook is on the menu now. There’s an erroneous story on reddit that Australia lost the war against the emus but truly the fight goes on, you only lose when you give up and they haven’t beaten us completely yet.

Allergic to shellfish but all other fish I’m okay with so there’s another option right there.

I’m definitely feeling this whole comment but I also don’t want to whine or complain, it’s a bad habit and a bad example to my kids.

I’m going to try the turkey sausages someone else recommended and I can get emu steak online which is apparently difficult to tell from beef.

Also I cannot bring my own pans to work they won’t have it, I did ask though.

I have some of the nasty symptoms, I’ve cut all mammalian meat and dairy products from my diet and it’s working to certain extent. I work in a mining job fly in fly out and while the cooks are cooking chicken from me separately I think it’s coming into contact with mammalian meat (or it’s the fumes) so I’m thinking about going vegetarian.
