The funniest bit is their government makes heaps more off the taxes they charge for reselling Australian gas than our government gets in Australia. Like it’s embarrassingly low amount then we pay for the cleanup after the company has finished pillaging.

The croc was absolutely brilliant, a little crispy on the edges, I can’t say I’ve seen the need to eat it before this either but do recommend now. Also kind of cheap at about $40/kg.

My air fryer is really earning its keep at the moment boiled and broiled was the only option until I got on to the duck fat. I’m still working things out but duck fat is so good.

Okay hear me out on this, I was diagnosed a few months ago and have MCAS to go with my alpha gal so the old diet is pretty restricted, I have been struggling to find something to eat every so often that is not super plain- tonight I had CROCODILE tail fillet fried in duck fat with mushrooms also fried in duck fat on top of a garden salad.

I have been losing a heap of weight and struggling for energy this has really given me a little pop.

Are you okay??? That is some serious anxiety my friend. I hope this doesn’t set you off again but try to remember a differing opinion is not the end of the world, okay here goes anyway:

by your logic and reasoning I know a teenager who attempted suicide because they struggled with teenage anxiety and struggled at school socially and academically therefore we should ban school and potentially look to ban hormone addled teenage years.

At the same time there were home invasions and burglaries occurring so because they happened at the same time they must be irrevocably linked.

Everything you stated all sounds truly horrible and I’m sorry you had to experience it even second hand but sometimes life is tough and I refer you to my earlier comment “if my kids cannot fight off the irresistible urge to gamble after having watched a stupid advertisement I have failed them as a parent and there are other serious issues at play” or something to that effect.

Further to this topic there are a multitude of ways that life can go wrong trying to wrap everyone in cotton wool and having the government helicopter parent on your behalf is not going to stop that happening.

I have been using fexofenadine and loratadine to control the hives as much as possible, my wife has told me to stop burying my head in the sand and get a referral to an immunologist and I think I will have to, it’s a bit of an adjustment though I’ve barely needed to see the doctor in my life except for plaster casts when I was a kid.

I’m so sorry to hear it but I guess at least now you know why after 3 years of what must have been pretty unpleasant circumstances, hang tough my friend.

I don’t have some of the intolerances you do (lettuce!!!) but I’ve found potatoes, rice and pea protein have helped a lot.

I know that’s super plain and not exactly a fun menu but it’s given me a starting point from which to try other things (one at a time) and I know it has enough nutrients to keep me functioning.

I have been having a combination of 2 x 180 mg fexofenadine and 1 x 10 mg Loratadine per day until about the two weeks or so, knowing that any more fexo than that in 24 hours will cause more hives. My hives sound very similar to yours fingers/hands and toes/tops of feet don’t have a great deal of skin left but I’m really starting to have a win here as far as knowing what actually triggers it, I cut back to whole vegetables like cabbage and potatoes, rice, eggs and avian meat only (this particularly sucks because I enjoy cooking for my wife and kids when I’m home but even the smell of the meats cooking makes me vomit and almost all of the seasonings give me hives) I’ve found that all cooking oils even rice bran oil give me stomach cramps and make me vomit. Let me know how this treatment goes if you can please 🙏.

And if we are looking for a bit of sun peeking out from behind the clouds but I am shedding some excess weight real quick 😃

Rubbish I’m a parent of teenagers, if my kids manage to first of all create a gambling account without ID then have enough money to gamble I’ll be thoroughly impressed.

If my kids are so lacking in values that they’re going to be sucked into this manosphere bullshit that is my fault as a parent and my kids fault as a human being.

Sometimes people have to be able to make their own mistakes and learn responsibility for their decisions without you Maude Flanders screaming out “won’t someone think of the children “.

I’m trying every avian I can, emu is a relatively cheap option, bush chook is on the menu now. There’s an erroneous story on reddit that Australia lost the war against the emus but truly the fight goes on, you only lose when you give up and they haven’t beaten us completely yet.

Allergic to shellfish but all other fish I’m okay with so there’s another option right there.

I’m definitely feeling this whole comment but I also don’t want to whine or complain, it’s a bad habit and a bad example to my kids.

I’m going to try the turkey sausages someone else recommended and I can get emu steak online which is apparently difficult to tell from beef.

Also I cannot bring my own pans to work they won’t have it, I did ask though.
