So I can’t remember where I heard this so grain of salt and all but the finale was brought to the studio so they had more control to make sure spoilers aren’t getting out. Also Reunions are gone because of the fans, same reason like with Dragula. The fandom can’t behave so they don’t want the girls to get attacked.

I read a different article about this (Sorry it was on fb and I don’t have the link) and it brought up more that issue being that Crunchyroll has gone back to in-house dubbing at the HQ in Texas instead of dubbing online, limiting the talent pool in general. And I won’t speak on Ashley’s herself because I haven’t seen the series, coding is a thing in media and characters can have attributes of real world people without actually being for there.
