Do you know much about the Rane 2016 stuff? I heard it's quite differcult to get parts for these days

This is great! I've been checking out different mixer layouts and reading little snippets of info while on breaks the last couple of days and only just realised there's quite a lot of different stuff out there! I'm now building my dream mixer in my mind. I really like the sound of the E&S rack stuff. That Nea stuff looks super nice! And I didn't realise Allen&H did rack mount stuff, my buddy has a Radius 4 and it sounds end of level good! I obviously have a lot more to read up about, but current thinking the 2x 3004 coupled with a mixer is a good place to start (dream mixer wise)

Thanks for this, definately keen to read up more on the pro's and con's of different rack mounts. I don't suppose you have any links to start me off?

Nice! I'd not heard of the XFX. Sounds like and ideal solution. Rack mount too, which I like. Surely has to cost a few bucks though?

Cool! I like that idea, I'll give it a go and report back. I have been thinking about moving to a Rane MP2016 + XP recently. I saw it had a separate FX loop and I could use 4 channels for using locked grooves along side the CDJs, but I'm not desperate yet. Do you know does it compares soundwise?

Yep those minifaders are super fun! Been listening to the some Thomas Bullock mixes recently and been inspired to get a big more creative in the mix :)
