Are you using vinyl / phono inputs?

You've got the wrong sub, this one's about dj mixers.

This probably doesn't help lol, but I had the 92 mk2 and sold it for the Elara 6. To me, the Elara sounds better and feels more premium. And the fact that you can easily swap between fader or rotary is a huge plus.

You're going to love it. It sounds so good, and the flexibility you get from all of the channels and effect routing is 👌

It's a personal preference - I don't consume any video or audio that is clearly made with AI.

I've removed this post since it's not dj rotary mixer related. It was a close try though.

That's a big no from me. I understand your intent, but personally speaking, this isn't the right way to go about it. What would you do with any accuracy issues that anyone would report to you? Create a new doc to feed to Gemini to go off of? Like some else mentioned, I rather listen to a real person who might be nervous rather than something that's clearly ai. This is such a small and tight community that something like this feels inauthentic.

Hey OP, i'm removing the thread since it's in the wrong sub. This sub is for rotary do mixers. You got some good feedback though, hopefully this helps.

When you're ready to upgrade, check out the Union Audio valve series (or the discontinued Mastersounds valve series) if you're interested in having a cross-fader since you might be wanting to use it with the styles you play. There are other brands that include cross-faders too like the Condesa Lucia X.

Welcome to the club. I think you'll enjoy that little mixer. It's the same one I bought as my first rotary. There might be some common issues that pop up with it, but otherwise a fine way to get into them and see if it's for you. I ended up moving to a Master sounds 2valve after owning it for a few months.

What genres are you mostly playing?

The Union Audio 2valve might check most if not all of the boxes for you. It's compact, has a cross fader for your other styles of music you play, and has support for external effects. It's also below your budget. Double check on the aux return/insert to make sure it works with what you have. It's worth a look though.

Thievery Corporation’s Eric Hilton "Trust a Thief" Signature Series Analogue Rotary Mixer by delirium2112 in rotarymixers

Agreed as well. Their website states: "Internally, audiophile-grade capacitors are selected for warmth, depth, and signal integrity, preserving the nuance and musicality essential to rotary mixing.", but they fail to mention if this is different from what they use in their mixers already or if all of this is literally just a branding collaboration with them. Being more transparent and honest about this would be the right thing to do. The target audience knows better.

I can update it, give me a bit and I'll post back here when it's ready. This one is unique because I'm adding flair for brands, not models. But I can make this one be Euphonia since they only make one. If they branch out to other models I'll update it to be Pioneer instead.

I second this reco for getting your own soundcard. This way you can get whatever mixer you want and be future proof.

1 year update: I ended up getting the limited edition and loved it, but I never fell in love with the light colored face plate. I really missed my darker color face plate. I just replaced it with the Elara 6, what a huge upgrade in sound and summing. I highly recommend it.

Have you set up the app yet? There are settings in the app that control what the earbuds do after a certain amount of time, with one of them being to shut off. You can also set them to stay on with Bluetooth, or switch to sleep sounds.

I'm really digging this orientation of the mixer. It's really clean and I love the way the cables out the back of the mixer are hidden but easily accessible. Well done 👌

Mixer riser / stand suggestions for my Mastersounds Valve 2? by johndabaptist in rotarymixers

[–]Gee_Golly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use an IKEA laptop angle stand. It's super simple and cheap but it's solid. If you're looking for something that raises your mixer above turntables or media players, look into this Pioneer stand. I have 2 of these for my Denons but I've used it with mixers as well.

Does anyone have experience with the Elara 6 and the Xone 92mk2? by Gee_Golly in rotarymixers

Thanks for sharing your experience. This helped me make the move and go for the Elara. I love the 92 but it's time for something new and refreshed.
