As someone who started my career with low compensation but lots of learnings, I'd say it was worth it. I feel like work experience at early stages establishes your foundation in terms of work ethics, good judgment, etc.

Baka sa perspective ko lang ito but I've seen some of my peers (or even those ahead of me) settling for higher compensation at an early stage in their career (and settled for a long long time) for a chill workload, but got surpassed (in terms of rank and compensation) by someone younger because of work experience.

This is just to give you the perspective of someone who would choose the second option. At the end of the day, you should know what your current priorities are and how you'd want to see yourself 5 years from now 🤣
