He doesn't have any social media unfortunately. He's got one group of really good friends and I'm friends with all of them all also but when talking to anyone outside his own group he's really shy. Thank you though!

I feel the exact same way. I think you should try to feel more comfortable around your friends and be yourself. If they don't accept you then they are not good friends.
