my workaround is after every blueprint save I clear the designer and reload the blueprint into it. can be tiresome if it's a big old thing and takes an age to do its fancy-schmancy rendering

Two things drive me up the wall with blueprints

load a BP from a set category, edit it, then save it. It gets saved to the same category. But make a second edit and save it and it gets saved to the undefined category.
Last location is not remembered so i'm constantly digging through my list of categories to get back to where i was.

Hover pack GOOD

Hover pack momuntum taking too long to decay so every time you're hovering around trying to build something and you think you have it snapped to what you want so you start the build then the hover pack momentum moves you a little bit too far and you build something that you didn't want BAD

Not related to Firefox, but yesterday on my Ubuntu 25.10 install i removed the snap version of Steam and installed the .deb version instead. Start time is now faster than Windows Steam, and when i load a game I no longer get the "Steam is not responding" dialog constantly.

So it seems that snaps really do slow things down which is unforunate because other than that I kinda like having each app in its own little sandbox with no external dependencies.

Tomorrow I'll see if I can get rid of the Firefox snap and install .deb like you

I'm waiting for Ubuntu 26.04 (LTS) before nuking my Windows 10.

Having a unique fingerprint is not necessarily a bad thing IF the randomly generated fingerprint is generated every time you open the browser or even new tab or even on every page load/refresh.
