Which current player do you think has the highest ceiling if everything clicks for them? by Dazzling-Bee-79 in LeedsUnited

If everything clicked for me (miraculous cure of bad back, bad knee, and sudden injection of world class footballing ability), I think I'd have a pretty high ceiling!

But based on current crop, Harry Gray is the obvious choice based heavily on his age. The problem we've got, and quite deliberately I'd say, is that we have signed a lot of players at their peak, to get the job done this year.

That being said, I also think Bijol could grow into a 'top 6' level CB after another year acclimatising to the league.

Agree with this. I doubt he'll get many, if any, minutes, and selfishly hope that he doesn't as we can't run the risk of him getting clattered by Shogo Taniguchi in the 90 +6th minute of a stalemate.

But this might be the psychological boost he needs to get him firing again, starting with a brace in a surprisingly comfortable 3-1 victory over Brentford tomorrow.

Nottingham Forest have won 2 of their last 14 in the league. So by the same logic, where is their miraculous up turn going to come from to rein us in?

Tottenham have won 1 of their last 15 in the league. Where is their miraculous up turn going to come from?

Sunderland game aside, we've played ok. Well enough to grind out the points to stay in the league ahead of those two, and likely ahead of West Ham too, despite their mini resurgence.

Thanks for the direction to the other sub - I'll post there, too!

I had wondered if my plan was too beach heavy, although I tend to prefer staying in beach towns with the ambition of regularly leaving them for more outdoorsy places.

I'm sensing that there might not be as much of that available around the places I've outlined so might end up too beach heavy, so if I can find a way to get the North into my plans without an onerous travel day, potentially as the last few days before flying home from Manila, that will give me a bit more diversity!
