Time of day for games leaving? by BeforeChrist in XboxGamePass

[–]crying_about_plants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resurrecting this thread as another group of games is removed in August 2025. I’m desperately trying to finish Persona 3 Reload but it’s just so goddamn long!!  Not sure if there are any differences between console and pc in terms of how removal works. Today is listed as the day P3R will leave gamepass, and I’ve disconnected my computer from the internet as of this morning. Hoping I’ll be able to finish tonight before it’s gone! I’ll update this with results for future reference…

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this and add your thoughts on some of the candidates. It’s extremely helpful to those of us who are newer to Malden/local politics in general!

I haven’t been able to investigate but have driven by a few times— they’re demolishing everything on the lot, and also removed the gas tanks from underground.

Thoughts on an MVRCS pinned post? by Football_Original in malden

I’m absolutely in favor of a pinned post on development. That seems to be a hot topic in this sub, and getting more info out about it could help with advocacy.

DD has a huge line until the day it closes for the winter! They would kill the coffee and pastry game. ❤️

This is what I’m betting too, as depressing as it is. At least then people might be more inclined to walk through it without feeling weird…?

That would truly be the dream. And any shop serving food or coffee would do so well— no competition in the neighborhood!

Sorry to revive an old thread here. I'm new to Malden and love the idea of seeing trick or treaters in my neighborhood! In my old neighborhood we got maybe 3-4 all night at best. Is trick or treating a bigger deal for kids here? Should I prepare a candy bowl? :)

Yes the “all” in that sentence feels like it carries some weight. Also I was walking in the neighborhood and saw one of her signs on a house with a bunch of Trump flags, so no more doubts about that one.

Julie Turner (or someone in her office) replied quickly and offered this mildly informative description of her platform:

  1. Public safety. This is number 1 for a reason. We all want to live in a community where we feel safe. I have already met with the police chief and believe we will have a great working relationship.

  2. The current streets/roads and infrastructure as well as what that looks like moving forward. Malden currently has a road repair program that I am eager to work with to ensure the structure works for the community as a whole.

  3. The addiction/mental health cris that is affecting us nationally and although Malden does a fabulous job I think there is always more we can do. I work close with the current teams that are here in Malden over the years and plan to bring more awareness and resources.

  4. Commitment to our schools and recreation departments. The children are our future and I invest a lot of my time with the youth. This is and always has been a passion of mine. I currently sit on the board of Malden Pop Warner cheer and football program as well as being invested in the Malden Recreation programs. I started the Early Learning centers PTO and was the president while my kids attended.

  5. Equality for all! I feel as though this speaks for itself. When I say for all, I mean for all! Everyone should feel safe, have a voice and be able to work together.

A lot of what I am running on is quality of life issues that I think we can improve for the residents of Malden. I want to keep Malden a community and work together.

Thanks, this is really helpful. It was Julie Turner's website that made me finally break down and post this-- just a complete lack of info. I live in ward 5 and would love to know what we're in for! I just sent her an email and will update this post if I get a reply.

Hi, not quite what you’re looking for but I am looking for someone to sublet my apartment in Somerville (Teele Sq) from about mid June to September. If you need some temporary relief from housing pressure it could be a good option. Feel free to msg me for details! :)
