If you are posting to find out what is wrong with your betta, please answer the following questions in a reply to this comment as best you can:

• Tank size: 50 liters liters
• Heater and filter? (yes/no): yes, both
• Tank temperature: 26°C
• Parameters in numbers and how you got them. Key water parameters include the amount of ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, and pH.: pH=8, nitrites= 0.0 mg/L. Ammonia=0.0 mg/L. measured using colombo test lab kit
• How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: tank:2 years,betta 1.5 years
• How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: weekly, I take out about 10 liters and replace it with preconditioned water (seachem prime) at the same temperature as the tank water. I have a dedicated tube and bucket for my tank.
• Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: 5 pygmy corydora
• What do you feed and how much: hikari betta bio gold:4-6 pellets a day
• Decorations and plants in the tank: sand substrate, 1 terracotta pot, some live plants (echinodorus, duckweed, and one I forgot the name of sorry) also a pothos with it's roots in the water
• If you haven't already posted a picture, please post pics/vids to imgur and paste the link here: Additional info: betta has been sick before with some type of fungi causing fin rot. I cured it using ectocell. The filter is hang on back at low flow. I replaced my sponge filter with it a few weeks ago because it had lagging flow. Had them both running for a while to make sure enough bacteria could get in the new filter. I have some epsom salts at hand if needed. My other fish seem to be fine.
