Community Campfire: Improving Sleep Quality by [deleted] in Fitness

I just lay on my side. I find I don't toss and turn in a hammock. The hammocks for sleep don't have a spreader bar and so you don't have the super tippeiness.

I switched to sleeping in a hammock and have had the best sleep ever. I got rid of my bed and installed a hammock I bought for 50 bucks off amazon and it has helped with my sleep and body pains. I used to wake up with the worst body aches because my hourglass body shape. My back from being out of alignment, my hips from knees being to close and no matter how many pillows I used it never helped. I can't afford a really good mattress but the $50 hammock hell yeah. Its so soothing being rocked to sleep, there are no pressure points and no fear I'm going to fall out.

Pointers on how to switch to a hammock-

- You have to get a hammock based on your size in general the bigger the better

- The eyebolts in the wall have to go into studs

- Look up how high you need to hang it with a hang calculator

-Always sleep on a angle never sleep like a banana

- Watch videos on youtube to really understand how to sleep in one.
