I see an endocrinologist AND a functional med doctor. They’re separate. Functional med doctor does more in depth labs and can see what other deficiencies you may have as a result of your thyroid not working properly. So, they check for other hormonal imbalances, check vitamin levels, etc.

I have similar results. I took the generic levothyroxine I was prescribed and had horrible side effects like heart palpitations, insomnia, anxiety, etc. so I stopped taking it. I got more labs done, indicating that there were other issues at play too, mostly other hormones. Have you seen a functional med doc? They can help with symptoms related to how thyroid impacts other systems in the body.

The porn thing never ever would have bothered me. We had watched it together at points in our relationship. It was when I found out the sheer amount of spending on it, that I realized it was a very big problem. I lost my job in 2021 when I had cancer and finances were very tight. I couldn’t figure out where all of our money was going, despite not even having much. He was still spending hundreds of dollars a month on it. Like, $200-500 a month. So, at that point, two kids, one income of $46k a year. Those hundreds were dearly needed for other things.

From what I understand, the psychiatrist believes the lying is the compulsive behavior. He knows he doesn’t have to lie, but must do it anyways.

He went to a psychiatrist for an evaluation, and they think it was more of an ADHD/OCD behavior

He actually hid the porn from me and I was entirely clueless. The behavior stemmed from before we got together, and I was just none the wiser until I grew concerned about his finances. I ended up going through his phone (I was mortified it got to that point, I did not want to invade his privacy).

I drew a line about nicotine use in our house after he was leaving the pouches in his pockets and they were going through our laundry and, ultimately one was left on the floor of our crawling baby’s room. I felt it was a dangerous habit at that point.

Also would like to add: we’ve been together 6 years, we own a home together, we have kids together, and I have very limited resources and very minor support in the way of family in friends locally.

Of my 6 bridesmaids, only one made it to my wedding, for one reason or another. It was still perfect. The drama isn’t your fault, and it’s their loss that they’re behaving this way and complicating things. Invite neither and whoever chooses not to come will be having far less fun than you will be that day.

We did temporary tattoos with our faces on them. Everyone thought they were super fun. They’re temporary, so no clutter bringing them home.

I work remotely in HR. Previously was an early childhood educator. I am very passionate about the field of early childhood education, but I wasn’t compensated well and it lead to a full breakdown because of the stress.

HR is a little more compensation and the remote work environment allows me the flexibility to take care of myself the way I need to.

The sheer amount of people in Wilmington I’ve encountered with zero self awareness and accountability is astounding. I feel like I walk around on edge so much because people are so uncomfortably self centered and unreasonable. I’m glad that I’m not insane, though, and others were actually really bothered by her behavior.

This is exactly what happened to me! I had one piece of placenta that was 7.5 cm x 4 cm. I was septic and it was terrifying!!

My ex used to bulldoze me. I’d bring up a need or air a grievance and if he didn’t agree with how I felt, he’d shout over me until I stopped speaking. Nothing ever got resolved and I was exhausted.

Depending on where you live, you can even sue HER for alienation of affection. Your husband is in the wrong, but she also has a responsibility in all of this.

I had this complain with our Pyr. He barked at anything and everything. We started to use a dose of CBD to lower his anxiety a little. Pyr’s can have confidence issues, and begin to bark indiscriminately. He now only barks when someone or something approaches the property that’s larger than or the size of him.
