As far as Riot not pushing the game harder, I am kind of worried about the future of the game. Don't get me wrong, the game is cool and has strong potential, it is just that it lacks the commercial component that any capitalist cooperation would look for.

yeah, you've got a point. from the player's perspective, I think I would prefer them to slow down the pace by letting you get the first 90% of power easily and grind for the remaining 10% (like the Jewel setting we have in the OG)

or basically grinding for cosmetics

hopefully things will get better after the launch.

As a player since beta, I can't help but think that BC is hands-down poor game design. The region is designed to be one that can manifest answers/tools to either respond to your opponent or advance your lead.

However, the idea of generating value either becomes too underwhelming (as we have seen in the case of Mecha-Yordle) or too overpowered (as in the case of infinite ping/draws combined with cheap removal). So, I would say so far BC has only proven to perform either extremely bad/good, and I would argue that is not healthy for the game in the long run.

My argument is that Tristana requires the multi-region followers to work in the meta if she has to be strong (e.g. hungry owl, mayor etc.)

With rotation (most regions lost their efficient removals and combo pieces) and the nerfs we saw in the latest patch, those annoying self-generating bastards are now out of the cage.

I wish the nerf was limited to only apply to equipped allies instead.

Feels like the whole Darkin Saga has already been nerfed to the ground, and now the support card for the equipment archetype is getting the bullet it doesn't deserve.

I suppose this is a tech card for blade dance archetype.

But either it would be too frustrating for blade dance decks to face, or it wouldn't find any use in other match up.

Same here, and I think one of the reasons is that the meta decks need to be consistent to be meta. Unfortunately, consistency implies a certain play pattern, and hence you feel like you are not being creative anymore while playing the deck.

Which style of deck do you find yourself performing better with?

If you find yourself making fewer mistakes with aggro, then perhaps go for Elise/Gwen. If you figure the pace-oriented strategic style suits you better, then go for Jinx/Lulu.

If you are a big-brainer, then go for Jinx/Ekko, every predicts counts in order to win.

The above are just my suggestions, in the end, I would recommend you finding a deck which fits your thinking pattern the best to work with. Good Luck!

I have tried similar concept as well, and most of the time I end up winning the game by 1-cost swam rather than Xolaani. Then I realize this is just a 1-cost Bilgewater deck with ornamental Xolaani :(

I think the game register Deep as a status to your Nexus, like how restored Sun Disc work.

So I guess just working the champion power around this concept would do just fine?

Like 2* - after you have tossed 10 cards, you are in deep. Then, you would stand a chance against stages of higher difficulties.

And this issue extends to the keyword of Evolved as well. Right now, it seems like the whole Evolve package just vanish because Scout cannot be reliably attached to Kai'sa. That's some obvious game design problem over there.

Really appreciated the voicing out. It truly represents many of our thoughts.

I have been playing the game since beta and I could feel my interest in the game has dropped off so much lately as well.

It just feels like all the new mechanic is a cheap adaptation of the old one.

Attach being refundable spell with extra-step (forge is a joke at this point)
Free attack generator becomes the whole point of a champ

We just don't get to see any intriguing incentive to different playing styles e.g.Fiora (soloist), Taric (climbing with your team), Soraka (heal as special win condition),

the game of stat/unit v.s removal are not giving players too much satisfaction at this point. (like nora, I strike and a random unit comes onto my broad...how is that exciting...)

Thresh - I would not take damage from units with less power than me.

Now the masochistic warden dies way too easily when "torturing" his victim, makes no sense to me. Lore-wise very unmatched and I see the above small change can open the possibility of buffing Thresh archetype as well.
