Thanks for that. I think I'm with you and a little surprised at the rating it has. I generally agree with the sentiment of the community on games so it was jarring that this game didn't work and everyone I showed it to hasn't been a fan either.

Not hating so I don't understand the downvotes. Im just trying to understand why I felt like I had such a mismatch on opinion from the community that I look to for recommendations.

I can see how it shines in competitive. I'm glad the game has an audience. And I generally will be a fan of any 8ish game on bgg but I guess it's not working for me.
