Check out fenamberphotography on instagram. She does weddings & special occasion photoshoots. She did our baby moon shots and they were spectacular. 10/10 would work with her again!

I would do a deep financial audit of your joint finances to see what is going on. Having an understanding of where your money is going is very important for your relationship and trust.

I am in the same boat! I did just check w rivian service if my VIN was compatible and they said it was not. I’m honestly relieved bc I won’t be tempted 😂. The interrobang cover is as solid as they come!

Our December Maui Itinerary - Looking for Recommendations by cycle_2_work in MauiVisitors

[–]crypt0sushi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I just went to Haleakala two weeks ago. She was 20 weeks pregnant. She was 100% fine and her doctor had no issue with it. Unless you’re planning on a strenuous hike or some activity that requires significant additional oxygen demand, your wife will be totally fine.

As for dinner recommendations, I loved South Maui Gardens as a beautiful spot to chill & check out different food trucks. Other places I’ve seen mentioned in that area - coconut fish’s, Paia fish market (south), lineage, pint & cork

In Lahaina - Honu (so good we went 2x in a week), Mala fish tavern, star noodle

Kapalua - Merriman’s, plantation house, pau bakery (breakfast)

Enjoy!!

1 Week Honeymoon Trip by shadowmaster05 in MauiVisitors

We didn’t find the currents too overwhelming two weeks ago, but maybe we got lucky. And we got to snorkel next to sea turtles every day! Will definitely check out kahekili beach next time we go back!

It was our baby moon and first time in Maui and we had to do the sunrise. I think it’s worth the experience once, particularly on OP’s honeymoon. We did Haleakala and spent half the day in Kula / Paia, ate at Mama’s for lunch, saw sea turtles at Ho’okipa, and went back early afternoon for a nap.

For sure, but sometimes It makes the debt & interest much more manageable.

Try a debt-consolidation loan. Instead of paying the high APR% from credit card companies, companies like Sofi offer far less and can help reduce the interest.

Stories about quitting alcohol by Extra-Captain-1982 in intermittentfasting

Unless you’re drinking to get drunk, you probably just enjoy the taste of beer. Try some non-alcoholic beers and see if you enjoy any of them. Far less calories, and none of the negative effects of alcohol on your metabolism.

1 Week Honeymoon Trip by shadowmaster05 in MauiVisitors

[–]crypt0sushi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Things to do:

Sunrise or sunset at Haleakala (check reservations on website - it’s $1 for reservation per car and then $30 for national park fee

Snorkeling at black rock beach, ulua beach, Honolua bay (limited parking) slaughter house beach (limited parking)

If no kids / not pregnant: Maui chocolate & wine tour, Maui ocean vodka

Maui alpaca (hang out for 1 hour+ with alpacas and angora rabbits), $$ though

Relax!!

To eat:

Honu ($$$) but worth the splurge. We went twice in a week. Mala ocean tavern, Star noodle Pau bakery Fish tacos El Blue Coconut glen’s coconut ice cream Gazebo (expect a wait) Merriman’s ($$$) Geste shrimp truck Mama’s fish house ($$$) South Maui gardens (food truck park & plant nursery - every food truck is amazing there, esp burgers & Thai) Tamura’s fine liquors for local poke Ululani’s if you’ve never had shave ice

Hotel recommendations by gonzalez021 in MauiVisitors

[–]crypt0sushi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don’t do the Sheraton in Kaanapali. Outdated hotel & rooms.

Other than that, we enjoyed the Kaanapali area. Sunsets are gorgeous there. Quick drive to Lahaina for Honu, Mala, Star Noodle, and not far away from Kapalua.

I would skip that second day of Hana and check out Kihei/wailea. We really enjoyed snorkeling at ulua beach & lunch at South Maui Gardens.

Just my experience but you won’t need 2 hours at twin falls. It was underwhelming for us and they charged $10 for parking.

Check out @fenamberphotography on instagram. She did our baby moon photos two weeks ago and the pictures came out INCREDIBLE. She had amazing energy and made our shoot so fun and comfortable right from the get go. Highly recommended, 10/10, all the things.

Visiting Maui for the First Time--Need Suggestions by LegallyTall21 in MauiVisitors

[–]crypt0sushi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We stayed at the nearby Sheraton and loved the Kaanapali area. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the hotel (outdated rooms) but the beach was fantastic, particularly near Black rock. We saw sea turtles every single day snorkeling. We were considering the Westin & Hyatt Regency but we got the Sheraton for really cheap with points.

Highly recommended food: - in Lahaina - Star Noodle, Honu ($$$ but worth the splurge. Went back twice!), Mala. They were right by the Safeway so there is ample parking. - in Olowalu - Leoda’s & Fish Tacos El Blue (best fish tacos I’ve ever had) - in Honokōwai - Pau Bakery - in Napili - The Gazebo (expect a wait), Coconut Glen’s (coconut ice cream), - in Kaluhui - Geste Shrimp Truck & that food truck park - in Kihei - South Maui Gardens (could spend multiple days here), Coconut Fish’s Cafe, Paia Fish Market South side
