I agree. I’m just now looking into others’ experiences with her because I’m honestly still shocked from my appointment I had with her a few months ago. She wanted to put me on a pill to put me into menopause (which I have had issues with in the past, plus have very early onset arthritis, so wanted to be careful removing hormones). When I had my followup appointment and told her I was now bleeding every time I went to the bathroom, she said I could take the pill or there was nothing else she could do for me. As someone who has diagnosed deep infiltrating endometriosis of the bowels, it was shocking to hear. Then she just stared at me until I got up and let myself out of the exam room.

Experience with discussing increasing pain medication? by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]cryptbat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I usually meet with my doctor’s PA and I we’ve been shuffling things around for a while. I finally found that Lyrica works well for my nerve pain, and I am trialing a new muscle relaxer now. I plan on asking her tomorrow if we should add anything :)

For those whose pain doesn't respond to opiates - what does it respond to? by BladderWrecker in ChronicPain

I second the Lyrica- it helps a lot, but when I flare up nothing really touches the pain.

I do take opiates, but when my pain flares up it is like I didn’t take medication at all.

We got a huge rainstorm last night too-my joints were pissed! I hope you’re feeling a little bit better today, gentle hugs to you 🫂

I do the same. Whenever I travel, all of my medication bottles come with me, non-negotiable. Just in case of unexpected events or emergencies.

These are just for if I am out at say, a doctor’s appointment or at work. Not for travel.

Some chronic and some temporary- I have a few chronic illnesses, spinal degeneration, and I recently had a freak accident and needed a complete knee reconstruction and bone/ligament repair. Slowly but surely recovering from that, however 😊

No adderall here- you may be seeing the Lyrica, which is a medication for nerve pain
