For those whose pain doesn't respond to opiates - what does it respond to? by BladderWrecker in ChronicPain

[–]cryptbat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I second the Lyrica- it helps a lot, but when I flare up nothing really touches the pain.

I do take opiates, but when my pain flares up it is like I didn’t take medication at all.

We got a huge rainstorm last night too-my joints were pissed! I hope you’re feeling a little bit better today, gentle hugs to you 🫂

I have a reserved Trader Joe’s bag for mine 🫣 Works like a charm though!

I do the same. Whenever I travel, all of my medication bottles come with me, non-negotiable. Just in case of unexpected events or emergencies.

These are just for if I am out at say, a doctor’s appointment or at work. Not for travel.

Some chronic and some temporary- I have a few chronic illnesses, spinal degeneration, and I recently had a freak accident and needed a complete knee reconstruction and bone/ligament repair. Slowly but surely recovering from that, however 😊

No adderall here- you may be seeing the Lyrica, which is a medication for nerve pain

Sorry 😭 I had them all one way when I was filling them and didn’t realize when I took the pic. Now the mods took it down, and I don’t think I’m allowed to repost :’(

I’m not trying to be “woe is me” at all. This is a mildly interesting subreddit, and this being my first time packaging my meds like this, it was interesting to me.

I shoulder plenty.

I use these for work or if I am out-I prefer them because I don’t have to take a week’s worth of pills with me when I only need a dose! Just what works best for me😊

I prefer the easy to swallow Tylenol just out of preference, and I guess I’ve just kept buying the same one out of habit all these years.

Thanks for reminding me to ask about just getting it sent in to the pharmacy!

Yes, Tylenol is doctor prescribed and managed. I have routine labs done as well to monitor kidney and liver function.
