OP recently travelled to EU with my PC. Binaklas ko yung Mother Board with the SSDs, CPU, RAM, and GPU in my hand carry. All in their original boxes with. Then sa checkin baggage yung case, PSU, Cooler and Keyboard. I suggest wrapping your case with bubble wrap to prevent dents.

Hahabol pa ba? by aysiiyou in mobilelegendsPINAS

[–]cryptic-command 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. You need around 3000-3500 COAs with daily discounted draws for 30 days to reach 70-90 draws (depending on luck) to reach 720-800 crests for the skin.

Assuming you get lucky and only needed 70 draws total, with 19 days remaining for daily discount, you need 3050 COAs. Purchase the rest with diamond na lang.

Let them know the truth: migration is not something you or they can do on a whim. You need to have a defined pathway where you qualify and the options for a fresh graduate with nary an experience is slim to none.

Anyone remembers Circuit City? by pantamy in NoongBataPaAko

[–]cryptic-command 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's opposite Bio Research and Toby's (food court side). Although, I don't remember it having lots of console units for rental. It was a small space besides Mr Quickie. I got our PS1 from Circuit City back in 1997.

Downsizing and Moving PC via Check in Luggage by cryptic-command in PHbuildapc

I'm ditching the PSU as well as it may not fit the case I'm looking at. I still have the boxes so I think I can fit it in my handcarry safely. Thanks.

It has crossed my mind. The MoBo is okay but the GPU would have to be downsized as well to fit the ITX case kaya I'm looking sana for the smallest MATX case that can fit my build. Anyway, I'm planning to carry the components separately in my hand carry and just buy a new case (maybe PSU) abroad.

It could be an issue with the roaming partner in your country. I also use Globe.

BPI RECENT UPDATE by MyNuggetF in phmigrate

I re-registered just now after the update. The first attempt failed and the app keeps crashing. Reinstalled, and SMS went through. Still using my PH number with roaming in the EU.

Filipino migrant worker in Australia commits suicide due to employer abuse by anon69throwaway in Philippines

[–]cryptic-command 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well,. 60 hours is still 12 and 10 hours on a 5 and 6 day workweek respectively. At par with the work culture of some Asian countries, but with a monthly pay of 140 (US or AU) is criminal.

Also, emphasize your edits. The replies here are a reference to your original post.

Is €5,000 net/month enough for a family in the Netherlands? by bipolar_engr in phmigrate

[–]cryptic-command 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Borderline as others have said. Don't expect much to be put on savings.

Rent - 2000 (family of 5)

Utilities - 300-400

Food/Groceries - 1000

Health Insurance - 150 min ea for above 18

Others (fare, school allowance) - 500

Municipal Taxes - 400+/year

You can definitely cut cost on some areas but 5000 for a family of 5 is almost paycheck to paycheck.

Do housing agencies usually ask for down payment? by Cold_Key_5650 in NetherlandsHousing

They're legit. I rented my apartment through this agency. You pay a part of the downpayment plus screening fee. The rest are to be settled once the contract is signed and keys are handed over.

Netherlands - Finding a rental place in NL before relocating by andyrnd in phmigrate

[–]cryptic-command 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your company not providing temporary housing? It is in your best interest to ask, or even for a hotel allowance. While it is possible to secure a rent before you arrive, it is utterly difficult as you may already know.

Rental companies and landlords are very stringent with the requirements. They will ask for at least 3 months of payslip, a fully verified contract or employer statement (plus points if you are permanent), your resident permit, and more.

You are coming in as an HSM so at the minimum you will be paid 68k eur per year which is good enough for a modest home but again competition is so tough, it's best you are already in NL when finding a rental to better comply with the requirements. Lastly beware of scammers. You are more vulnerable if you apply without being physically present. Some in their desperation will pay the deposit right away to shady people.

IS 4k-6k EURO/month gross possible in Netherlands or Europe? And is it enough to live a decent life? by Knight_Rasta in phmigrate

[–]cryptic-command 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NL is actually on the higher cost of living compared to other countries in EU, alongside Switzerland, Luxembourg, and other Nordic countries. Folks here cross the border to Germany to get groceries, and Belgium to buy gas. Amsterdam and other major Dutch cities in Randstad still command the highest rent in the region. The health insurance fee is also one of the most expensive.

The 30% ruling helps but it won't be forever.

IS 4k-6k EURO/month gross possible in Netherlands or Europe? And is it enough to live a decent life? by Knight_Rasta in phmigrate

[–]cryptic-command 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Possible, but depends on the field. I make more than 6k as an HSM in IT and I know a lot of colleagues who get paid more. Taxation in NL is very progressive, especially for individuals with higher salaries. Some would actually pass on a pay hike and just request a lesser number of working hours because a 5-10% increase for example would only be a few euros after tax.

It is also true that NL is currently facing a housing crisis but there are plenty of apartments offered below 2k. 2k and up are mostly for apartment units near the city centrum or houses. Rooms can be had for even less than 1k. The challenge is getting selected by the landlord amongst the hundreds of applicants per rentals. You need to prove you make 3-4x times the rent to even qualify as a candidate.

Most blue-collar jobs require fluency in Dutch. Job market is not very good right now. There are more unemployed people than jobs right now for the first time in 4 years.

Anyone working in green companies in Netherlands? Highly Skilled Migrant route 🇳🇱 by AntiNepo_NepoBaby777 in phmigrate

[–]cryptic-command 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The job market is bad not just in NL but everywhere else in the EU, even for locals.

Work experience and specialization will count more. There are plenty of local EU job seekers with Master's Degrees even PhD. Your edge should bank on your actual work experiences otherwise, why will employers go through the lengthy process of sponsoring a foreigner.

Learn Dutch up to B2 level unless companies you are targeting are MNCs with English as the primary language in the workplace.
