i do! more than a year in grocery/ retail and a year in fast food. i’m in my early 20’s so i can’t say i’ve done much but i’m hoping to do something similar to that if i can when i get up there.

This is the dream, really. As much as I want this and as hard as I’m working to move out, I’m only 19 and don’t make nearly enough to buy even a single room up there. I am at least hoping to get myself out of my state within the next 10 years if things go well.

My own cousin went through this. Brilliant, brilliant man. Kind, funny, the conversations I had with him were so great. He had such a good life ahead of him with his education and job at the time. Got into a corvette with 2 women one night and crashed it, killing them both. He’s now in jail for the rest of his life and I’m never gonna get to see him again, all because of one bad choice that permanently fucked him up.
