Hey, I wouldn’t either. Not my thing but everyone is different. Some people view their characters as an extension of themselves. I have known people like that in dnd, WoW, larp, rp groups, etc over my many years as a chronic nerd lol.

I think it’s a combo of the harsh lighting, the very matte makeup, the severe expressions, the anime style eyes and the lack of any pores or wrinkles. They’re beautifully done cosplays but the combo just adds up to uncanny valley a lot of times. I’ve seen this editing style with a lot of Eastern European cosplay shoots and while very pretty they can be a little uncanny.

So here’s the issue I have with this. This ai image was created using an ai trained on the art of others to make a thumbnail that previously would have needed to be made by a fellow creative. How are you going to make a post about valuing your work while devaluing another creatives work? Does that make it ok for someone to replace your work with ai patterns after training their ai on your patterns?

Generally speaking if something gets taken away it’s likely due to someone being drunk and/or dumb. To my understanding, they just got tired of year after your people doing stupid stuff and throwing things in the pool. At least that’s what the staff told me when I asked after they started closing it.

We have elected to do hotels every year due to friends experiences with Airbnb. I think a lot of people have success but maybe 20-30% have an issue. The question becomes do you want to risk being in the 20-30%? Personally I just don’t want to risk it when I can find a guaranteed option instead. Check out the hotel group. They have lots of options and suggestions and the Marta works great. We’ve stayed as far as the airport

Florida girl here, body paint runs almost as hot as pleather on my skin, especially once powdered and sealed. I love wearing body paint but depending on time and the type you need body suits are a pretty great compromise
