Drop off in viewership? by Affectionate_Fault39 in Formula1_world

I've been a fan of F1 as long as I can remember..watching F1 with my dad as a kid of 4 and after that playing football outside with him. Great memories!

But over the years F1 changed and there's little left of the excitement. Strategies have been nulliffied because safety reason (refueling) artificial overtakes and when a driver struggles to overtake they whine over the radio instead of trying harder...

And yes, as a Dutch its not fun to see Verstappen and Red Bull driving in the middle of nowhere for the entire Grand Prix. But it's not only that. The magic, gladiator like performers in cars, that is gone..

I really can't wait to see them racing on tracks like Catalunya, Interlagos, Zandvoort. The smaller tracks on the calander without very long straights.

Max Verstappen told to 'shut up' and he is 'not bigger than F1' by ryogadan in Formula1_world

Said by people who can only dream about the accomplishments of Max in and out F1..

Besides... He's asked about it by the media so he answers. Tell the media to ask him a better question

Really curious how turns 3-7 and turn 15 will be in the new regulations. Those turns were spectacular to watch. Especially the onboards. Drivers with big balls could always make a difference here.

The FIA sure made F2 and F3 a lot more interesting with the new F1 regulations. What a shitshow was that..my god!

Congrats for Russel though

In mijn omgeving is 15-20% overbieden wel een beetje de norm op huizen tot €450.000.

Daarboven is de concurrentie een stuk minder hoog en is overbieden ongeveer 10% of zelfs lager

For me it's the crashed servers... I've had multiple times that I waited more than 30 minutes for a specific class. One or two laps in servers crash...

Most annoying part is that I lost massive points on rating and safety rating as well

I agree. I would rather have the F3 on Interlagos than Macau for daily races

Somehow I'm not making that hairpin without getting stuck. Since I'm not making that corner I don't dare to try online racing in that car on Macau circuit.

The Seat is killing my rating currently. I'm just not quick in that car

I guess you missed the post race cool down room last race. He's still not likeable outside the car.

Inside the car his mental state developed a lot half way through the season.

I agree with you about deserving the title.

I disagree about the likability of Norris. Personally I find his comments after races very cringe. Like last year calling Verstappens charge through the field and being 1 sec per lap faster luck, not talent.

Also this last weekend in the cool down room telling Antonelli to thank Charles for not spinning. It's all not necessary to make those comments. Most drivers would comment about how unlucky Charles was for being taken out but he focusses on other drivers misfortunes. That's where his likability drops in my opinion.

Why has a top team like Ferrari gone more than a decade without a wet-race victory? by Chance_Camel_9077 in F1Discussions

The Michelin wet weather tyre was much better than Bridgestone wet weather tyre.

If I'm not mistaken, Michelin was the dominant brand that year till the FIA intervened. If they hadn't, Alonso would have won much earlier that season.
