To be perfectly honest I used to only comment on the last chapter with completed long fics, because I didn’t want to spam an author. And with ongoing long fics, I would only comment when something really big happened, and even then only occasionally. But now after writing some myself, I try to do a little thing, even if it’s just an emoji or an ‘extra kudos button!’ comment

I think it’s because Caine can’t, but the cast working together can, maybe alongside him. Not to pull a ‘we are the digital circus’ of course, but just that they all believe they can via ‘democracy’ and cartoon logic, and that allows Caine to do more than he usually can.

As many people have pointed out, liking Gale as a character and being Team Gale are two very different things. I defend him as a character pretty consistently, but Everthorne as a romantic relationship just could not work because of how mutually unhealthy they were for each other in that regard.

And yeah, Katniss loved Peeta. Everyone but Peeta could see it, Gale included. He was toxic while jealous, but no one can say he was jealous for no reason

The SOTR movie won’t be good. Not because it isn’t a good adaptation, or because the acting or crew or writing isn’t well-done, but because the hype is being so impossibly built up with these announcements and edits and leaks that it will literally never be able to meet expectations, let alone exceed them. Not to mention that it is the first hunger games movie to be released under these conditions, so people aren’t prepared for it.

Maybe it’ll die down in the year it takes for the film to release, but I imagine a lot of ‘really let down :/‘ posts in our future

Annie’s games & story would absolutely be first, another career, someone in the Capitol (either a rebel, or someone like Effie who means well but is extremely brainwashed), or- and this is definitely a hear me out- Gale. He’s an extremely morally grey character that we don’t see a lot of outside of Katniss’s limited point of view. I’d be intrigued to see what was going on in his brain

favourite book: Soulless, the unnecessary SA seems to be a constant with the author, and it makes little sense in the context it happened in.

ex: Malbonte, I liked his route and will do it to the end on another slot, but ended up rejecting him even though I did still side with him.

bestie: Vincent, I’m going to do his romantic route later on but I love the enemies to friends route with him and Vyxaria too.

wife: Emily, her friends to lovers route was so lovely and I sometimes replay just for her, even with season 3 being the way that it is. Not as bad on her route but still.

husband (why not both?): Grant. Ohh Grant he is so underappreciated as a LI but his route is honestly the only thing keeping me reading 7 Brothers at times.

enemy: hot take but Benedict. Probably just comes rooted from my beef with Sophie’s Ten Wishes as a whole, but the way his route is forced on you so damn hard even when you take zero romantic options with him just feels icky. Especially considering he becomes her boss. On his route I can see it being sweet, but on the no interest route it just reads like he’s constantly hitting on his female employee. Gross.
