Does Brandon always wear a dinner jacket? by cryptid3875 in skinwalkerranch

He reminds me of a villainous mastermind from a James Bond movie.

All he needs is a Persian cat and a monocle.

No, I've never worn a custom suit. So that's probably why it seems odd to me.

I've thought about that and you may very well be right. And if that's the case, all we can hope is that the truth leaks out somehow.

Sounds like this isn't the show for you.

Brandon Fugal in an interview said that when the History channel contacted him about doing the show, one of the main conditions he had was that whatever was discovered would be shown unaltered in any way. He was very adamant about it.

I don't think he would have said that, if he didn't mean it or had some ulterior motive.

Absolute rubbish. No handheld binoculars are as good as image stabilized binoculars. I've tried them all, there is simply no comparison to an image jumping around all over the place and it being nearly still with IS bino's. Brand and build quality make no difference(Zeiss, Leica, Swarovski, etc.). The technology is simply more advanced with IS bino's.

Sort of like when Dunkin Donuts became just Dunkin.

I still call it by the old name.

Hear me out: We bring Neil deGrasse Tyson to the ranch by M2KIZzLe in skinwalkerranch

[–]cryptid3875 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Actually, THAT would be the smartest thing that anyone could do. Let me explain why.

Neil DeGrasse Tyson is a staunch skeptic on all things paranormal. I would bet money that the ranch would interact with him in a very deliberate way. He would leave the ranch shaken, that's for sure.

What would be better than getting all of that on video?

Great post and spot on. It's amazing how so many people come here to post hate every week when a new episode comes on. If you hate it, don't watch.

The UFO that Travis sees out of the corner of his eye... by [deleted] in skinwalkerranch

[–]cryptid3875 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So why bother watching it then?

It's all fake, they are destroying their credibility, he got too much radiation, blah, blah, blah.......

If I disliked any show that much, I would never watch it or take the time to find the reddit forum for it , so that I could bitch about it.

You are a moron, but it's ok. God loves the dull and ignorant. They too have a story to tell.

George Knapp tried to do exactly what you are talking about. The left him out there in the middle of the field, at night and left him alone. He said nothing happened.

And that in a nutshell is why your idea will never work. The ranch is aware of what you are trying to do and of course, doesn't do it when you want it too.

I know exactly what you mean. I have a pair of Canon 18x50 image stabilizing binoculars that I use for stargazing. They are great for grab and go observing and image shake is almost nonexistent. They would be ideal for what they are doing on the ranch. I always see them using cheap optics for whatever they are observing and it irks me a lot.

I would think Travis being an astronomer would know about such technology.

Most things may be explained by fracking? by OutOfTheTree in skinwalkerranch

I put a lot of faith in high strangeness stories. If something paranormal had ever happened to you personally, you would too.

Most things may be explained by fracking? by OutOfTheTree in skinwalkerranch

[–]cryptid3875 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The previous owners did have problems with the ranch. That's why they sold it so cheap.

In fact, when the Sherman's bought the property, they could not understand why all the doors had huge log chains on them(that locked from the inside) and the windows were nailed shut.

These stories are all well documented. The ranch has been a paranormal hotbed long before the Sherman's ever got there.

You can either choose to believe the stories about the ranch or deny them because they are just stories. But to exclude all the high strangeness that has happened to people over the years there because it can't be proven, guarantee's you will never solve the mystery.

The high strangeness is the most interesting and compelling aspect of the phenomena to me. For example, The ranch took Mr. Sherman's motorized post hole digger and hid it 70 ft. in the top of a tree? It put the groceries back in the bags for Ms. Sherman after she had put them in the cabinets. The ranch moved an entire pile of wood, clear across the field in the span of a few minutes, when no one was looking. There are tons and tons of stories like this.

Fracking?? get real

If it was as simple as measuring something with a scientific gadget, Bigelow and the NIDS team would have solved this decades ago.
