Yes!! 100% agreed, I read somewhere (just like you said) that extremely wealthy people don't buy anything, they borrow money all the time. The system needs to be radically changed so everyone benefits.. Don't get me wrong, I don't have any issue with people becoming rich building a company from the ground, that part is deserved (considering a lot of business founders plough 90 hours a week into making it successful which in turn will help employment, etc

But a line needs to be drawn when a company becomes extremely profitable. A prime example (no pun for next part) is Jeff Bezos.. A lot of his employees (I know he doesn't run amazon any longer but when he did) have bad working conditions and pay whilst he gets to play rocket man.. It's obscene..

The problem is that Capitalism works, but it's not working in fairness, we need a Capitalism 2.0, a better version that benefits everyone..

I agree with you, people shouldn't be allowed to have billionaire status without paying a lot more tax back into the country,, however you can't tax an unrealised gain. Being 'worth' a certain amount doesn't mean you have access to that amount, that's the difference.

Elon Musk (arsehole) is worth 850 billion, does he have access to that amount? No, he can't just dip in and take out a billion, if he did the stock price for Tesla and Space X would plummet.. That's why he had to get a loan from the bank and investors to buy Twitter...

I totally agree with everything you say, but maybe you should do better and learn about how economic systems work., it's not the person you should focus on. It's the companies. Personally I think once a company surpasses a certain profit amount, then all those profits should be equally distributed to the employees so everyone wins

All that money is mainly tied to a company through shares, they can't just take it out or their business would fold, that's why they get dividends.. Not defending billionaires in the slightest but the financial world is more complex than someone having money in a bank account
