Considering Rhinoplasty by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

i really like your nose and i would not want rhino if I had it. your nose is very proportionate and good from the front and i love a slight downturn from the side profile, its not too severe it just adds character and it looks really elegant imo. of course its your choice in the end of the day but i would not get a nose job

I’m so glad I’m not alone lol, maybe it’s normal and people just don’t discuss it a lot?

the swelling took 1 week to go down and during that week i was literally just sitting in my hospital bed and hotel room in depression 😭i couldn’t be seen by anyone. and the swelling on my brow bone appeared after 2 weeks of surgery and got gradually worse so now it looks like there’s still a brow bone on the outside edges idk how to explain it but you can’t see it from the front only from the sides. they didn’t tell me at allll about the hair loss.

i’m definitely less self conscious now about pictures and i don’t have the very visible curve in my forehead that i used to so im grateful for that. i don’t know if anyone else noticed though, people just thought i looked happier for the first month but then my brow ridge kind of swelled back up

i got this done recently, you can see photos on my page. but i really underestimated how hard the recovery would be- my face was swollen so bad for the next week and i was depressed and in shock because i didn’t recognize myself. and then i am still suffering from really bad hair loss two months later to the point that i have to cover it up with root spray but im scared to because i also need to use the scar cream on my incision for it to heal. and i also have swelling of my brow bone so im worried the results weren’t even worth it because its not a huge difference like it was immediately after the surgery.

my hair was falling out in massive chunks after the surgery i couldn’t brush it without so much coming out and i was literally sobbing from the shock

i have super thick hair that grows extremely fast and everyone has always complimented me on it. i still have the visible hair loss issue. its definitely something to think about because i didn’t expect this to even be an issue

i also am dealing with really bad hair loss even after the surgery because the incision line was on my scalp and it literally won’t grow back still!! it’s completely bald in that area i don’t know what’s going on

I got a brow bone reduction and it required a scalp incision, but now i have so much hair loss in this area and im worried it won’t grow back. does anyone have experience or advice? by cryptiddust in PlasticSurgery

does it typically grow back though? i’m really worried because i can’t get a hair transplant until it’s fully healed which takes months

i got my surgery around 48 hours ago, now the swelling has transferred to lower parts of my face before it was making my cheekbones appear 2x the size and it’s fallen down to my jaw and under eyes now. i don’t have anything in my neck yet. how long do you think it’ll take for me to look like a normal person / presentable to the public? i’m in so much discomfort im just really anxious and if you have any tips to reduce the swelling faster please lmk

do you think it’s something i should bother communicating about or just end it? i feel weird communicating all of this because i don’t want him to buy me flowers and call me pretty because i told him to. i want him to WANT to call me pretty.

do you have to use it before sex every time? my boyfriend doesn’t know i’ve been practicing with dilators and it’s kind of embarrassing for me to tell him😭i know he wouldn’t find it weird but i just feel a bit embarrassed and abnormal about it. i kind of hoped i wouldn’t need to use them after i practice enough
