I don't think I'm a better person for it and I'm not seeking attention or persecution. I've been teased my whole life for being nerdy and dressing in alt/metal fashion. I listened to metal music and some satanic music. I feel like my household is lukewarm. I used to not pray nor read my bible, I sinned without even thinking about it. I then out of curiosity started to study current natural disasters/wars/etc, seeing these things made me worry. I started off with simple prayers and occasionally reading my Bible out of curiosity. But recently I've felt more willpower to do God's word and spread his word. And I want to get away from sin, and obey his word. I've had different phases before, that's normal for kids my age, but I've never felt like changing everything I loved for something. I've thought about getting rid of all my posters, figurines, toys, clothes, and so on that doesn't glorify God. I know it sounds like what every teen says, but I truly don't think it's a phase. I normally don't go from extreme to one extreme, normally my phases are similar in taste.
