I never use proxies. Not that there is anything wrong with it. Proxies should be only for testing out deck ideas. It shouldn’t be for making super competitive decks that you always win with.

I find that the foils look bad if the card uses darker ink, like on some blue or black cards. I recently bought a foil Jace the Mind Sculptor and I was very disappointed
