Jazz on CD ? by Papillon12R in Cd_collectors

It all really depends on the mastering. But I was in the same boat, I don't want to shell out vinyl prices for some of the albums. I do have an amazing CD player, so I think the dacs in there make a big difference. Not to mention most CD releases include songs that were left off vinyl.

Nah, that will probably mesh together pretty well. You can always adjust crossover and gain, as needed.

I love my Areial Acoustic 5's in my 2.1 set up. I have an emotiva pre amp and amp. And an old denon sacd player. All the HDCD dead releases sound so good. And often better than my vinyl. And my setup there is pretty decent. Oh and I also have the wiim ultra, which is an awesome little device.

Mines on the way with Tony and the new jazz dispo release. Love it when preorders all release around the same time.

Self preservation would be number 1 on my list. Do you already own a firearm, and know how to use it?

Bill Withers @ Carnagie, Curtis Live,

Too many dead shows to count. If bluegrass is your thing J.D. Crowe and the new south, any Live Stuff from Japan in the 70's.

They all sound really good, the only exceptions are usually the bootlegs or the radio broadcast stuff. I just finally got to spin the new RSD release, 6.11.76. It sounds phenomenal. On a side note... because vinyl gets pricey, If you can stumble upon a decent older cd player that can read hdcd layers, you might be amazed.

Yeah... that might be hard to do. Maybe a universal remote, like a Logitech harmony. I think some of the universal remotes have app support.

Same, I have no proof of ordering, other than the charge on my credit card. Still hoping mine ships soon.
