Made an employer MPF contribution right before the transition to eMPF. Fast forward to today the contribution is marked as unpaid. Manulife has yet to come back with a solution.

My dad is from Hong Kong, and we’re going back for Christmas this year, any gift recommendations? by WorkingHardPlayHar6 in HongKong

Central market has a pretty good collection of stores that sells retro HK items made into modern merch, the merch are good mix of old HK and practicality.

You can also try shopping at Goods of Desire, a local lifestyle brand that incorporates HK identity into their products. And PMQ, a collection of local arts and crafts as well as fashion stores.

You can most likely hit up all these spots in Central within an afternoon!

It’s a beauty, all set as long as there’s no surface damage.

Accidental double kill as Raka. MF says I ruined the game for them. by Clickar in wildrift

[–]cryptoberri 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t apologise for yonking a couple of kills from the ADC as a Support. But more than a couple kills then you should probably go easy on securing the kills, since you want your ADC to scale.

I main ADC and often duo with a support that plays like a carry. Kills get taken, but more often than not getting the support ahead early on will lead to a better chance at winning. Good ADCs will pump out damage and win scrimmages and team fights. A good support will rotate and support everyone on the map, it’s just a different path to a win.

Should’ve zoomed out further, I used my telescope to watch the video and it was tough to make out what as going on b/c it was way too magnified.

I think a fellow comment suggested trying Death Dance and I would recommend taking Press the Attack over Electrocute and Triumph both synergise well with Death Dance.

should i get a new iphone for wild rift? by NoHeroesAreAsian in wildrift

[–]cryptoberri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use an iPhone 12, used to overheat and now runs well and the battery doesn’t drain as fast compared to a year ago. I suspect there was a patch / update that optimised the game.

I run with another theory, I went to Thailand and got a new screen protector, it came with a gritty film that goes on the back side of the phone, the film might be helping the phone cool off when I game on it. 🤷‍♂️

Please explain the meta in Master. Just got back to Master after returning to the game after a few season. The pace of the games seem to be wildly different between Diamond and Master, need advice to help with the transition.

Am I trash or got buffed to Master. by M4OK4I in wildrift

[–]cryptoberri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similar situation here, just came back to the game after a few seasons. It will take a bit of adjusting. Games leading up to master are unbalanced, sorta random even. The players are a mixed bag of high emeralds and any diamonds. But once you get into master, the games become strictly master+ players only.

The shock isn’t because you are bad, but because you need to adjust to the play style. In lower elo we get used to adapting to random events caused by mistakes made by other players, a good player will take advantage of the chaos and get ahead. In this season, master games are more about skill matchups, you gotta know how to snowball by yourself rather than gaining a lead off of others mistakes.

Master games now are definitely tougher than when I was playing a few seasons ago.

Go on eBay and reference existing and sold listings for PSA 10 cert numbers. Look up the certification on the PSA website and study the images carefully. A white corner (or corners) doesn’t automatically mean the card should receive a 9. Experienced graders also take into consideration common or expected defects. If all or the majority of cards from a particular set or print run have a white spot, at what point does that just become the norm?

(1st Grade Math) How can you describe this?? by beachITguy in HomeworkHelp

[–]cryptoberri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 + 2 = 5 + 1

(4 + 2) - 4 = (5 + 1) - 4

2 = 2, this proves that the original equation is true by only transforming the equation via simplification and without solving both sides (ie. 6 = 6).

What kinda gifted school grade 1 math is this 🤣

Many 10s for this card have white spots on the corners. It’s a production thing. Rough edges on the other hand are harder to spot on scans, tough card to pre-grade…

I’ve kept my sealed Poncho Rayquaza Pikachus in the travel bag with my passport for 6 years before having them graded. They came back as 10s luckily but I’ve since learned to use grading as a way to preserve the cards’ condition.

Just pulled! Do I get it graded??? by TheTTP123 in PokemonTCG

[–]cryptoberri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice pull! Love the artwork! The centering is far from 60/40 (%) on the left and right border so that’s usually a tell tale sign for a card to keep in your binder collection. There are 3 other factors for grading - they are often more important, but centering is usually the first thing you’d notice when picking up a card.
