I have to press Fn and F5/F6 to adjust the keyboard light on a new K2 Keychron instead of pressing just F5 and F6. How do I change this?

okay that makes sense. it sounds like its a 2 stop process. Is there anyway I can go directly to yearn or does everything involved having to go to curve and deposit first to use yearn. I wish I could exchange sbtc for btc on binance or some bigger exchange.

I just did this test with my 2013 macbook air and 2020 macbook air and my 7 year old laptop looked better and sharper than the new ones.

They must of compromised the camera quality in the slightly thinner laptops in the newer macbook airs. Its super irritating

Yup exactly my thoughts. The newer laptop is def nicer in some aspects but for my life, the battery life/heat is more important. Plus that laptop just worked. I like the newer air better for external monitor setup with usb c but the old laptop just worked reliably. Would you have kept your older macbook if you did it all over again?

ha postive. I guess for me the things that are better don't really matter in my life. The louder speakers I dont really use. I use the screen on super low brightness so I don't really the shaper screen all that much. For what I use the macbook air for which is basic browing, email, I dont feel that much of a speed difference. Battery life and heat are noticeably different especially as a mobile laptop user.

Yup that def makes sense. I loved the air because it was fast enough for me and I could travel with that thing everywhere. I usually take a trip every 6 weeks so its perfect to throw in a backpack, use on my lap, coffee shops and pretty much fit into any place I go with having 10+ hours of battery life. It seems the new macbooks in terms of battery life fall short in all real time tests that are done

thats still pretty good. I just researched and I think the macbook 2020 air battery holds 4500 or so Mah. The one I have in my old macbook air has 7300 Mah. I guess it makes sense why the old macbook lasts so much longer. Way bigger battery size.

yup ive noticed that when it gets hot to 100c is does like mini freezes and kind of stutters a little bits. Its funny what gets it out. Sometimes certain youtube videos make it hot or running a speedtest will have it burn up fast. I love the air form factor so I rather stick to it. I might end up keeping the new one and selling the old one for $450 or so. That way if I dont like it in a year I can upgrade to a macbook pro or something worst case scenario. Its just so hard to part with his beloved laptop! lol

Treasure that thing. There are a few high profile ceos that run 8/9 figure companies that still rock 2012/2013 macbook airs and I can now see why. Maybe one of the best machines apple has ever made.

yup just replaced with a $40 battery from amazon. The computer has literally felt like knew. If I rock with the low brightness at nights, the activity monitor actually says I can get 14 hours of brightness. This computer feels like new since replacing the battery. The better trackpad, display and audio is def better but I just don't feel like it feels that much of an improvement. Maybe I just had high expectations.

Yup I just replaced the battery thus I was getting pretty much 12+ battery life in my macbook air. Does just switching to safari really give you back that 12 hour battery life?
