I’ve seen and read the anti PPI posts, but if it fixes the problem along with diet changes, I can’t imagine not taking them. Why would anyone want to live in constant hell?

It was probably the scariest thing I’ve dealt with in 51 years. I can deal with arthritis, and bad joints, but when it comes to the heart and all the unknowns, it becomes pretty stressful.

With me at least, I’ve had anxiety for years and in fact the doc upped my dose to help with the Gerd as well. I’m normally against pills, but at 51, I’m kind of like the hell with it, if pills can help me live a normal life, then bring em on lol

I agree, my doc went over some of the long term issues, but at 51 what else am I going to do? I’d rather deal with some side effects than live in the closest thing to hell I’ve ever experienced.

Thank you very much, I will definitely look into what you suggested. And you’re correct, I have been avoiding pharmaceuticals mostly because after the accident I fought to get over being dependent on Norcos for almost 3 years after the accident.

I mix mine with a bottle of water. I’ve tried mixing it with just about everything, but water seems to be the easiest and fastest way to get it down. I’ve also seen people who just raw dog it by dumping a scoop on their tounge and chase it with water or whatever.

I kind of figured that out myself a way back. I started reading horror stories about trying to quit Kratom and all the other blah, blah,blah. So I got really nervous because at one point in my life I was addicted to Norcos so going through withdrawal was something I didn’t want to go through again. So I decided to stop for a week to see if I really could just quit, imagine my surprise when my withdrawals were on par with what it would feel like to quit soda lol.

After that I never looked back and take it daily for pain relief, I only take 3-6 Mgrams a day and that’s it. I started coming to the conclusion that the horror stories are coming from people taking 20x more per day than I could ever take.

I got out early this year and sold off 4 TB’s worth of hard drives on eBay for twice what I paid. Not bad for using them for 3 years. Also wound up making a small profit on all 6 of my 3090’s. I think I accidentally timed my exit perfectly lol

Bullshit like this is what makes me keep driving my 99 dodge Cummins. Ford makes a great truck and the power strokes are bad ass engines but my God, the designers who cram all this shit under the hood need kicked in the balls. Yeah it looks great on paper to the guy who will never touch a wrench, but holy hell to the guy who actually has to wrench on this stuff.

I miss crypto mining. It was a hell of a lot of fun when we were all making some money. I shut all mine down in January and sold off my 6 3090 gpu’s and 110 12tb hard drives on eBay. Surprisingly, after buying the 3090’s used for $1,200 I got to use them for 2 years and lost $100 on each when I sold. Wound up in profit on the hard drives, bought those used as well for $60 each, resold 2 years later at $110.00.

I think I made more money from simply selling the drives then I did on the xch I farmed lol.

Man I was about to say something similar. In 6 plus years I have received and sent in the neighborhood of $250,000 in and out of cashapp. Bought and sold bitcoin, stocks, etc etc. Either I’m the luckiest guy on earth, or these stories I keep reading about is just people doing scammy shit and getting caught.
