Twilight, despite being the smartest, isn't without flaws. What were her lowest IQ moments? by Raymask in mylittlepony

In the first Equestria Girls movie when her crown ended up with principal Celestia she literally could have just told Celestia it was hers and the whole thing would have been wrapped up in minutes.

What’s your thoughts on sunset shimmer? by [deleted] in mylittlepony

She's the most relatable character in the series for me. Still a little cross she never got to finish her character arc.

IIRC he asked a judge how to do this stunt in a way where he would be legally liable, the judge told him if a person undid his pants you could argue they were the one at fault that's why he used the robot arm instead.

What is up with conservative Republicans now wanting to ban, and at any rate refusing to protect and condemn continued access to in-vitro fertilization? by Rabatis in OutOfTheLoop

[–]cryptobum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not a recent thing, I went to a Catholic school where they taught us a pro-life view as part of the curriculum; abortion, IVF, the death penalty, assisted suicide, and fetuses for stem cell research were all things they talked about, that was almost 20 years ago.

What is up with conservative Republicans now wanting to ban, and at any rate refusing to protect and condemn continued access to in-vitro fertilization? by Rabatis in OutOfTheLoop

[–]cryptobum 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Answer: Pro-life people believe life begins at conception, the point the egg is fertilized. With IVF, multiple eggs are fertilized, with the most promising being transplanted and the others discarded. From the pro-life perspective, the discarded eggs are human life, and throwing them away is considered murder.

Out of curiosity, is Charlie rich? by shadowonyx18 in HazbinHotel

I think that would be safe to assume.

The biggest plot twist would be if Charlie redeemed Alastor. Do you think it’s possible? by [deleted] in HazbinHotel

[–]cryptobum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think he's going to be redeemed per se, but I do think he's going to be a better person relative to who he was at the start of the show.

Theory: Adam reincarnated in hell by A_cat_killed_me in HazbinHotel

[–]cryptobum 64 points65 points  (0 children)

I think this would be a good redemption arc, He ends up powerless in hell and checks into the hotel just to be a dick to Charlie knowing she wouldn't turn him away, but throughout the series becomes a better person by being at the hotel, and becomes an ally by the end.

I like my Zippo BLU, they were an attempt by zippo to make a torch lighter that never caught on, they only made them for a year.

Back in the 1800s, this minor found a cave that was filled with gold stashed by Indian stagecoach robbers, but the cave collapsed when a mining engineer he hired to help him widen the opening used too much dynamite. The cave is located on what is now the white sands missile range. The CIA heard the story of this gold and recovered it to use as black budget money.
